Wonderful Albion/Mendocino

We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend at this incredible home. The view is spectacular and all the amenities that are provided truly made us feel welcome. Not to be missed is the amazing sauna also with a breathtaking view. Wish we could have stayed longer and will definitely return to this home on our next trip to Mendocino.

Stunning view

This house is incredible!! It is our second time staying here and can’t wait to come back! The house has everything you need to be comfortable. The beds are very comfortable, and linens are wonderful. Easy drive to Mendocino for shopping and groceries. The house is modern and clean and exactly like the pictures. One of the best things is the incredible view from every room, stunning!!! You will not want to leave!

Stunning Getaway to Mendocino

Bjorn's home is even more stunning than the pictures. It embodies a modern, simple, welcoming aesthetic. Perfectly appointed for a stay of a couple days or a couple weeks. The sauna was incredible, and the views over the river to the ocean were sublime. Overall a wonderful respite in a beautiful location. The hygge experience was just what we needed.

I Wish I Owned It

The unique home on Navarro Ridge, Mendocino County is a comfortable, tastefully designed modern property with spectacular views. The three of us enjoyed an all to short week experiencing its delights. The house is incredibly spacious on the inside, yet blends modestly with the landscape.

Incredible Brand New Home with Million-dollar Views - Perfect Stay

What a STUNNING brand new place at Navarro Landing with an incredible view - perfect for a relaxing time. We spent many nights here, and this is the best place we’ve stayed in Mendocino area. Will definitely come back. The photos of this place do not do it justice. Even during a big storm one day that caused a power outage in the area, the house was cozy, warm and safe with backup power. The view of the Navarro River (where it meets the Pacific Ocean) is unparalleled… we loved waking up to the view every morning. Besides sunset, sunrises are also spectacular…. the views never got old and never were the same. The house itself is well-stocked with everything we needed or wanted and actually more - from an abundant supply of bath towels to a well-equipped kitchen with endless dish/glass supply that doesn't require you to do your dishes every day. We thoroughly enjoyed just hanging out the open living room and kitchen area, playing games and just chillax, soaking in the sunshine and views. When we ventured out, there were abundant hikes, beaches nearby. Medocino downtown, Fort Bragg and of course delicious wineries at Anderson Valley are only a few minutes drive away. (We recommend stopping by Golden Eye winery for incredible pinots.) And after our adventures, towards the end of the day, we headed to the property’s beautiful Sauna-with-an-ocean-view and enjoyed a moment of healing and revitalization. There are some houses nearby, but it’s a very private, quiet and expansive property where you can see the night sparkles with tons of stars.

Albion retreat

This place was amazing! It was spotlessly clean and the three bedrooms were perfect for our group. It was a nice relaxing weekend, the sauna was an added bonus. The host was easy to communicate with. Definitely recommended! I could watch those epic views all day long.

Soul-replenishing location

The views from this home are incredible. The ocean, river, forest terrain make this an inspiring location to replenish your soul and reconnect with loved ones. This house is loved… the owners have put in beautiful, high-quality finishes into the home. The property is great. While I usually look for homes with a tread for running/walking, there is a loop on the property with amazing views that I used each day of our visit—didn’t miss the tread! Also, the sauna is perfection. Secluded away from the house and maximizes the ocean view. All I can say is this sauna must be envy of other saunas… The location to Mendocino is perfect—Away from the hustle and bustle but close enough for fine dining and shopping. We’ll be back!

Amazing property in a great location that allowed us to enjoy the peace and serenity of the northern coast while being in proximity to spectacular sights and conveniences. Set on a cliff overlooking a river flowing into the ocean, the views were serene and the home perfectly planned and laid out. It was immaculately kept, better than the pictures and the host was kind and considerate. We will definitely stay again.

What a gem!

This is one of the best homes we have stayed at! Absolutely beautiful! Every room was spacious and with the amazing views we stayed in and make incredible meals. The kitchen was well stocked. The sauna was wonderful and we used it everyday. Wow! Cannot wait to go back!

Don’t wait on this house. It’s everything you need to add for your perfect Mendocino vacation. Perfectly situated to enjoy all that Anderson Valley, Mendocino and Fort Bragg has to offer. It was a great home base for our daily adventures. Comfortable and well stocked. Could not ask for a better VRBO.

Amazing stop along our HWY 1 travels

Property is pretty amazing, everyone was in awe of the house and location. We all wished we could have stayed more than 2 nights but we had an agenda as we made our way up to Cannon Beach. I wouldn’t hesitate for a second to book your stay here.

Beautiful property and location

The property is absolutely gorgeous and the host was very responsive and provided great suggestions. It rained the first day but it only made the house more impressive and we spent the day doing puzzles and watching movies and then woke to a spectacular view and quick trip to Mendocino. Highly recommend this property and host.

Fantastic Modern Home with Killer Views!

Highly recommend this home - the location and views can’t be beat. We really enjoyed opening up the living room walls to let in the ocean breeze around sunset. The home itself seems brand new- it is very well designed and decorated. It is conveniently located just south of Mendocino. We will be back!

Pictures don't capture the serenity of the view. The interior is as pictured, modern and clean. EVERYTHING in the home is new, unlike many vacation rentals where things are mismatched odds and ends. Linens and bathroom amenities are hotel quality. You can pair your Bluetooth device to receiver for music, good speakers in ceiling. Peaceful and awesome views make this a great retreat. Mendocino and Fort Bragg close enough for what you need. Several good restaurants closer to property also. Bjorn was great host!

Wedding Weekend

We rented this property for our family over the weekend of our daughter's wedding. It was clean, comfortable, bright and cheery, modern and well stocked. There was plenty of room for our family of 7, and plenty of parking. We absolutely recommend it! The owner responded quickly to communication and was receptive to our needs. I would definitely rent from him again. We had one little hiccup that other renters should be aware of. The listing notes that the location only sleeps 8; what it doesn't clarify is that the owner only allows 8 people in the rental home at any one time. For example, you can't invite extended family over for dinner. This was disappointing to us, especially as it wasn't communicated until 6 weeks before the wedding. As long as a renter is aware of this limitation, then this is a great rental place!
