Away from the hustle and bustle of the city of Mangalore, this is a relatively secluded beach. For the history buffs, it's also famous for the nearby temple of Lord Shiva, which was apparently built at the order of the King 👑 of the Alupa dynasty in 10th century A.D. 😱

Food 🥘 for thought: Don't forget to try the local version of the snack "bhel", which is made out of puffed rice, vegetables, spices, coconut oil and tangy tamarind sauce
