Pet-Friendly Creek Cabin on 8 Acres - Billiards, Borders Natl Forest
10/10 Excellent
"This cabin lived up to its listing! Spacious, clean and new. The kitchen was stocked well with dishes, utensils and appliances that allowed us to home cook meals with ease. The cabinets were well thought out, oven was full convection, a dishwasher too!
The living room was comfortable and open to the kitchen for conversation. My son and I are billiard enthusiasts and really appreciated the pool table. We also loved the CD music selection and entertainment system.
The Primary bedroom had an awesome rustic bed frame and comfortable mattress. Bath had a shower and large soaking tub with a view. The other two bedrooms were roomy and the jack n Jill bath situated between them was exactly what was needed.
We were completely remote yet minutes from the little town of Alma.
We saw mule deer and coyote in the driveway! On our way back from Alma we came upon a Mother moose and her baby! Alma had a couple of great places to eat if we didn't feel like cooking. World class fishing and hiking trails galore including world famous 14ers.
We had to spend our last minutes in the driveway together to remind ourselves how much we appreciated this time at yor cabin. We hope to come back again. Thank you for everything."
"This was our second stay at this vacation home. We love the location; it is so close to town while also providing excellent privacy. The front deck is a wonderful place to spend your days and evenings. The kitchen is well equipped with utensils and pots/pans, but I’d recommend bringing your own spices and condiments to ensure you have everything you want to season your food to your liking. The grill was easy to use and perfect for both large and small meals. Most importantly, the home provides a very comfortable space to relax and enjoy nature."
Private Creek & Trout Fishing - Mtn Views, 22 mi to Breckenridge
10/10 Excellent
"This house was perfect for our family of 4. We loved sitting by the stream and having leaf and stick races down it. The couch was perfect for all of us to lounge on and watch a movie after the end of an adventure filled day. They have all the basics to cook, the beds were comfy, and the place very clean. Highly recommend staying here!"
Log Cabin w Hot Tub + Epic 14er Views - Near Breck
10/10 Excellent
"This was by far the best VRBO experience we have ever had. It was exceptionally clean, incredibly well-stocked, and had everything we could have needed. The hosts clearly thought of every detail, making the stay comfortable and effortless. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone."
"Evidence of great cleaning. Not a whole lot of cookware but enough to get by. Host gave decent information for checking in and checking out but doesn’t respond to questions. Extremely private and gorgeous scenery. WiFi is a bit iffy but it’s not a dead zone. Neither heater is adjustable and one doesn’t work(not much of an issue in the summer). A couple maintenance issues but nothing that really affected the stay. Some board games and books available, and a record player! Couch is cute but honestly not the most comfortable. The ice for the freezer doesn’t seem to be set up. Potential ghost?? lol, there will be an occasional knocking from the fridge and the creaking footsteps upstairs when in bedrooms. Alma is the closest town but would not recommend going there for anything: Very overpriced. FairPlay could seem far but it’s not really, and it has great options for food and groceries for good prices. Apply bug spray every time you go out, or the mosquitos and ticks will let you know that they are real if you don’t."
