"Very calm and quiet. Nice food and restaurant. Very friendly and helpful staff. They have a pool table and borad games to borrow and a relaxed atmosphere. The only thing that could be improved was the size of the rooms, the bed took up most of the room and there was no space for anything else."

"We were looking for something last minute after an 11hour drive. The hotel has far exceeded our expectations. The pictures looked ok, but in reality this place is so much nicer. Really beautifully designed interior whilst respecting the heritage of the building, excellent bar, very friendly staff. All of this right on the doorstep of a national park with a lake to swim in. "

"We have visited Sweden many times over the last 25 years and this is still the best place we have stayed in. The refridgerator had stopped working when we arrived and the owners replaced it with a brand new one within a couple of hours. On the whole a quiet location with sometimes a bit of traffic noise from the motorway if the wind is from that direction. Great for walks along the SkÄneleden that passes by the top of the lake. The mobile broadband is fine for streaming TV if you bring your own stick."
