"A great hotel, the food hall is brilliant.
Its clean and tidy.
The zoo next door, that is well worth a walk round, mainly birds, is free to hotel guests.
There is a boat trip across the road.
For Zegerplas parkrun its the closest hotel.
So easy to get to, Amsterdam Airport, go to bus stop B5 A 470 bus runs mainly in bus lanes and soon covers the 14.9 miles to the hotel. Then a nice 1 mile walk to the hotel.
Its a 3.5 k warm up walk to the most beautiful parkrun, around a very large lake,...
"We love staying at the Leeuwenhorst. It has a lot to offer. Free parking, it has beautiful woods behind the hotel for exercise and walks. The breakfast buffet has tons of good breakfast options. The sauna and gym is great to have on-site. It is located close to Noordwijk aan Zee."
"We stayed one night on the ss Rotterdam with 2 kids (16 and 12). Both liked the experience and the water taxi to the MarketHall. Nice change from a standard hotel.
The pool unfortunately was closed and the dinner service at Lido (on board restaurant), was fully booked so we ended up at the bar and ate snacks which worked well. There was enough selection that even the pickiest eaters found something.
Did not get a chance for the tour but would like to do it in the future.

"Don’t go with your American standards. Incredibly small room you’d have to go outside to change your mind. AC is NOT what you’d expect it got the job done but left much to be desired. But that said the hotel delivered exactly what it promised - clean rooms, functioning bed, close enough to the airport and a free shuttle that came in clutch. Overall, I’m very happy with my experience. I was there for one night and one day as I explored Amsterdam for 24 hours."
