"Good afternoon. We rented a home for two weeks and checked out on 4/3/26. We would like to thank you for responding to our requests and issues. The alternative heat system for the pool and hot tub was never resolved, nor evidently could it be resolved. As soon as the heat was switched to the pool, the hot tub would lose all its heat making the temp to the pool go down withing 30 minutes. The pool never got up to 90 degrees. Two things I would suggest. One, let everybody know you cannot have a hot tub at the same time as you are trying to heat the pool. Second, put a book together as most other rentals to give instructions for the washer and dryer, the TVs, the pool and hot tub situation switching back and forth, and the unusual stove and oven. Those things from the beginning would have been very helpful. I personally spent too much of my vacation time waiting on repairs or trying to fix something. We left one day early. From all the time we spent, I feel like a 5,000 refund would be fair. Let me know your thoughts.Jimm Nidlinger"

"We spent 7 days here. 1) The place was very clean when we arrived2) Kitchen is well equiped (sparse, but, OK)3) The deck is a great place to hang out and have meals. Comfortable furniture.4) Nice view from deck to beach5) Short walk across the street to the beach6) Unit is located just a couple hundred feet from the trolley stops7) AC worked well8) Looked like a couple nice bicycles provided in the storage room.9) New furniture in the unitCons:1) No closets or suitcase stands2) Minimal counter space in kitchen3) The stair step coming out of the shower is very slippery and should have some type of non-slip surface4) No water pressure in the bathroom sinks5) Minimal water pressure in the shower6) Super low toilet with strange square base under it with sharp corners. 7) Hot water. Unit has some type of "on demand" hot water heater. This heater tends to cycle on/off and restrict you to 1 - 4 minutes of continuous hot water in the shower before you get blasted with cold water. I contacted the host a couple days into our stay. No response from the host. 8) It is very noisy sitting out on the deckToo many cons for this price. Will not return."

"This property was just okay. The best thing about it was the location/proximity and ease of getting to the beach. The lowest you can turn AC is 72, so it was hot for sleeping as well as during day when we were inside. One shower was almost unusable due to low pressure. Twin beds were very uncomfortable. Couch is the only sitting area in living room and it is very uncomfortable as well. Laundry accommodations were in first floor storage area- which is shared and I don’t feel this is communicated well in the description. We had Unit B and your deck area is facing another house and “alley” walking area. The picture of deck in gallery is Unit A.My biggest concern was employees (I assume) from rental management came in with out any notice to us from the company. One lady came in without even knocking. With teenage girls with us, this was scary to them. I also messaged for more towels and they were never delivered to us.So overall just ok, we enjoyed the island, but we will not rent this again. "
