"Room was clean and nice. No issues with the room. The problem was the retreat isn’t what was pictured and the pool was 2 blocks away. Need better pictures of the actual building you’re staying in. "

"Loved our stay at the Cottages, intentional and attentive staff, quiet and semi secluded units on a busy island. Rooms were clean, fit the descriptions accurately and had everything we needed. The beach itself makes this the hidden gem. Walking up and down the rest of the beach we began to realize just how special our beach area was. Other beaches were crowded and small, but not Cedar Cove! One other note, our refrigerator was making a grinding noise, we notified management and within an hour they told us they would have a new one delivered and installed. Wow! Thanks and we will be back. "

"The physical location was great & very convenient. However, the electronic code provided to enter property didn’t work upon our arrival. But, AMI Locals was very responsive in get’n us a code to the manual lockbox to get a key. The only Toilet wouldn’t flush properly upon our arrival, it was obvious someone had recently used the plunger. AMi Locals again was very responsive & sent a maintenance worker by to fix the issue. Smoke detector in guest room kept chirping & needed a battery. AMI Locals tech came back out to fix that issue. So aside from waiting around for repair techs for a day & 1/2, our stay was enjoyable. But I Would strongly recommend mattress upgrades for all 3 beds."

"No ammenities. The pool is the size of a hot tub. They messed up my reservation and had me in a city view room when i booked a luxury beachfront room. They did fix it but i was unhappy that I was not on the ground floor as promised and we had to share a deck with the guests next door. This was so uncomfortable because we had the next doir guests walking by our room windows, therefore we had to keep the curtains closed when we were relaxing in our room. This was surpose to be a romantic weekend getaway and I was so uncomfortable. We couldnt even sit on our deck because the guests sharing our deck were outside with their kids. There was no complimentary water in the room. There was sand all over the floor. There was no room service, no complimentary bikes or beach chairs and umbrellas."

"Wow, what an amazing place! Perfect view from the front desk, directly across the street from a beautiful and uncrowded beach. Less than a block to the trolley stop and a short walk to a Circle K, grocery store only a 5 minute bike ride away. The apartment was clean and perfect size for a couple. Laundry, beach equipment (umbrella, cooler and chairs) were all available downstairs. Absolutely perfect for us and we hope to return next year!!"
