"This is a mixed bag - a beautiful place to stay - right on the water with seals barking right outside. The two-bedroom unit we stayed in was lovely, very roomy, separate bathrooms, well-equipped kitchen, with a wonderful view. But to be perfectly clear, it is NOT a resort and Therese are NOT cottages. They are condominiums, probably meant to be individually owned. There is no “resort” as such, no lobby, no amenities, no gathering spaces, pool or spa, or restaurant. Check-in is in a trailer as you enter the property. It is a long way from anything. One tavern and one small store within a 20 min drive. Everything else is in Sooke Harbor - a 35 min drive to get to restaurants, etc. the location is absolutely great for star-gazing - if they would turn off all the motion sensor lights and put covers on permanent lights it would be even better. We went out around 9:30 pm and could clearly see many constellations and even galaxies with a good pair of binoculars. I would encourage them to host star-gazing events for meteor showers -it was that good. So - if you do book, bring food and games, settle in and enjoy!"

"We had a wonderful time at the cabin. The rooms and bathroom were clean. The kitchen was well appointed and very close to hiking around the lake. Amanda was sweet and introduced herself when we arrived. I do wish there was a dryer to dry wet bathing suites before traveling but other than that it was amazing!"

"We’ve stayed in many vacation rentals over the years, but this one was truly something special. We chose this beautiful place as part of our anniversary trip, and it ended up being one of the highlights of the entire vacation. The property and surroundings are absolutely stunning, peaceful, and even more beautiful in person.Scott was easily one of the best hosts we’ve ever had. He was incredibly kind, welcoming, accommodating, and full of great knowledge about the area. You can tell he genuinely cares about his guests and wants them to have a memorable stay.This is one of those places you hate to leave. We were already talking about coming back before our stay was even over, and this will definitely be a return trip for us.If you’re considering booking this property, do it. Don’t pass up this hidden gem. It helped make our anniversary trip incredibly memorable, and we can’t recommend it enough!"

It's clear he takes great pride in creating a relaxingand memorable experience for his guests.The accommodations were spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully appointed, with everything we needed for a perfect getaway. Waking up each morning to the breathtaking ocean views was unforgettable, and the peaceful forest setting made it feel like a private sanctuary.One of the highlights was the incredible wildlife all around us. We were delighted to see deer wandering through the property, quail scurrying by, and adorable bunnies hopping about. It added such a special touch to an already magical setting.The serenity of Seaside Cove is something you truly have to experience.
