"Only place to stay at St Helens. Older hotel but decent. Had trouble with bathtub being too high to get in and out. Next time will arrange for handicap room. No elevator so arrange for ground floor in advance. To pricey for the hotel but no other place in stay in area. Should be much cheaper for what you get. Would stay somewhere else for price alone."
"The hotel looks okay from the outside but inside it is old and dirty. The bedding and towels were stained, and the room had a bad odor. I tried to buy water from a half full vending machine and it was sold out. They could only give one key per room. Didn’t have change for the laundry room and their staff couldn’t keep up with the breakfast room although there were only a handful of guests present. Probably one of my worst hotel stays ever.
