* staff was competent, friendly and professional * room was clean, spacious, quite nice * tub drained slowly, but it did drain * breakfast was okay; the cooked food (eggs, meat) was marginal, otherwise the food and selection was fine * pool and hot tub were amazing * would definitely recommend and would stay here again!

The fresh food items at the breakst bar were unedible. The fresh fruit was rotting with visible fruit flies. The waffle mix was chunky. The gravy for biscuits was burnt. We ate packaged cheese and granola bars our first morning; went elsewhere for breakfast the second morning. If a hot breakfast is adverand included in the room price, guests should expect quantity and quality.

We were very disappointed with the condition of our room. The shower curtain had mold on it, and the shower itself had not been cleaned properly, we even found hair from a previous guest. By the time we noticed, we were in a hurry, but it was honestly unacceptable and quite unpleasant.

We reserved a suite that was just a few dollars more than a regular room. The amount of extra space was well worth the few extra dollars. There was a very spacious counter top area with a microwave, refrigerator, and coffee maker. We will definitely keep this hotel in mind for future trips to this area.

The breakfast area had a lot black mold coming out of the air registers in the ceiling. All of the food - eggs & gravy and coffee was cold. The I’m smelled of bleach. Our swimming suits were damaged with bleach spots ! Burnt out light bulb in room.

Okay, but not great

Pool & hot tub was closed when we arrived. Tub drain was plugged/full of hair. A couple sheets of toilet paper or paper towel were on the floor in the elevator Fri & Sat. At the end of our stay the toilet wouldn't flush and there was a chair and towel at the bottom of the pool, we were told it would be removed, but it never was so we left.

I have always liked the cookies that are available in the lobby when you check in. But our room had a problem with the Ac/heat when we turned it on it began to smoke and set the smoke alarm off.Two people from the front desk came right away to check it out.Within a couple of minutes they said they would move us to another room,which was just next door. The next morning when we were getting ready to go down for breakfast we noticed something on the floor on the side of the bed close to the wall. Could not tell if it was food or digested food. If the room had been vacuumed it should have been picked up. We have had better breakfasts. The eggs were like chewing on rubber,so we went with waffels which were okay. The beds were comfortable. . youcheck-in.

Property was very run down. Chair had stains all over it desk chair was pealing. No body wash or conditioner for shower. Breakfast was a hot mess. Would not recommend. Should have paid the extra ten dollars and stayed at Hampton. Will never stay at another country inn.
