"I loved the room. I was given an early check in with no charge. The hotel is very close to the metro, making travel to and from my event easy. There's a nice bar on the premises, and a co-working space, so Iwas able to watch the WorldCupwhile Iworked. I'm a writer and tech builder, so the quiet of my room was very appreciated. I would highly recommend this hot"

"I LOVED staying here. First, the location is perfect—right next to the metro station that will take you to and from the airport (in like less than 10 minutes!…arriving directly to the airport terminals for check in. Best system ever!) The location was quiet but with plenty of cafes but close enough to the city center to get there through a quick bike ride or a medium length walk. I didn’t take an uber or even the metro once while I was there, traveling mostly on foot and on bike (bike was best—reserve one of these, take it wherever, lock it up when you want to walk/stop and carry on). The room was beautiful and super clean and the rooftop was incredible with lovely cocktails. I come back to Amsterdam, I’m coming here! I also ate at a carribean inspired restaurant that wasn’t too far from the hotel—delicious! Called Labyrinth Cocktail Soul Food & Poetry Bar (photos 4 & 5). Very sexy, yummy food and great drinks! I tried the smoked haring from Frens Herringhandl—great quick lunch/snack and had Nepalese that was also very great here: Babal—service was excellent too! (Photos 6 & 7). I also recommend the Van Gogh Museum and a canal boat ride with Kinboat Amsterdam (Photo 8) (if you go at night, bring a blanket or bundle up—it gets chilly but it’s beautiful and worth it). Cheers to a great trip :)"

"Lovely hotel and only a 20 minute train ride into the city center. The station is across the street from the hotel. There's a cute petting zoo area outside of the hotel where a cat loves that we named Yan. Yan would say hello to us every day when we left or came back to the hotel. We would absolutely stay here again."

"Excellent hotel, beautifully located and with nice, smart rooms. However, mostly there was no hot/warm water in the bathroom sink. I mentioned this to the reception staff several times, but in my 5 days there hot water worked only on two (evening) occasions. The other thing was very rude chambermaid. On my final day she knocked my door at 09:25 and demanded I checked out. I mentioned that the check-out time was 12:00 and she preteneded she didn't understand, and still insisted I should vacate the room. I was about to anyway, but it was very unpleasant and it very mch spoiled the overall feeling of my stay in this hotel. Usually, when in Amsterdam, I stay at NH Caransa. And I will probably go there again. Theydon't kick you out of your room there."
