We were in town for one night on an unexpected layover. The staff were very helpful in giving us some pointers on where to go. The hotel was an easy walk to restaurants and not too far from the Rijksmuseum. Even had a nice view of the canals from our room too.

Great choice of hotel

Just spent a fabulous 3 night stay here and cant fault it, so clean ,room was spacious and lots of choices at breakfast. Never heard a thing at night ,so slept all night.a short walk to tram stop or metro. It was my birthday on Saturday, we never told the staff,but on returning to our room ,there was a large chocolate brownie,with happy birthday written on the plate, they must have noticed my dat of birth on my passport, a great gesture from the Appolo hotel highly recommended.

The location allows you to experience a neighborhood feel rather than the busier areas in the Center, while still being walkable to sites or metro. Loved the interior design in both the room and common spaces. Hardly ever eat at hotel restaurants but this one was so nice we did (and could see locals were also doing so - it was packed). Also had drinks at the beautiful bar. Would recommend highly

It’s a nice hotel with great walkability-close to lots of dining options and good shopping. Hotel bed is comfy and having a coffee maker and a bathtub is always welcome. Closet is a good size and the blackout drapes were very effective. There are a couple of tram stops nearby that you can use to get around the city. Uber is quite pricey in Amsterdam and a multi day public transportation pass is easy to pick up at Amsterdam Centraal. €21.50 for three days per person. The longer the stay the better the deal.

The hotel is in a nice and quiet part of De Pijp. Walking distance from the Albert Cuyp market. The hotel staff are warm and friendly and their knowledge on where to eat and some of their favourite foods for you to try is so good
