This was the perfect place to stay, and we will definitely be back! Girdwood is such a lovely area and the location couldn’t have been better. It’s close enough to Anchorage while also being super convenient to Whittier, which worked perfectly for our plans. We had a hike planned in Whittier and were heading to the Anchorage airport the following day, so Alpine Meadows was the perfect home base. The host was incredibly accommodating with both our check-in and check-out times, which we really appreciated. The cabin itself was so cozy and had everything we needed—we even ended the night playing Monopoly! It was such a fun, relaxing stay.We only wish we could have stayed longer. We’ll definitely be back to Alpine Meadows for a longer stay next time!
