"We truly enjoyed our week long adventure at Coconut Bay. Our room was very nice, staying on the Adult side of the compound, and we had access to the entire resort including numerous pools. We did note that the hot tub on the adult side was not really working and was only marginally warmer than the pool. Secondly, though it was not the fault of the resort, there was a large amount of turtle grass that washed up along the beach. Near Paradise Beach it was kept very clean however nearer the resort there was constant use of a front loader and dump truck to clear the grass and replenish the beach with sand. That meant laying next to the pool hearing the heavy equipment and smelling the diesel exhaust for hours on end. It may have been a seasonal thing but it detracted from our stay. Aside from that the staff was amazing and engaging. Food in the MarketPlace was delicious, although we were a bit disappointed in the quality of the food at their Asian restaurant Silk. The Italian restaurant Trattoria was delish and the service impeccable! The special features nights were outstanding - so much fun on Carribean night with fire eaters and stilt walkers, and the Western Night was unbeatable. We line danced all night along with a very enthusiastic group from the resort and the music was outstanding. We would certainly return to Coconut Bay and my wife and daughters were literally in tears as we left because it was truly an enjoyable stay. We also loved the Land & Sea adventure"
