This is a wonderful hotel about fifteen minutes walk away from Aomori Station, with many restaurants especially izakaya near by. The hotel feels new, the staff are friendly and check in/out is a breeze. We booked the standard room with a king bed that although a tad small is very comfortable and well equipped. Dormy Inn has many nice touches such as complimentary apple juice and coffee throughout the day, free bowl of ramen from 9.30pm to 11.30pm, and free use of washing machines (pay only for the use of dryer). The public bath is another delight. Overall highly recommended for a short stay in Aomori.

Very clean. Efficient room layout. Great shower water pressure (no tub in standard double room in this case, 1101). Breakfast buffet is 2500 yen (pricey but very good quality and great selection of foods including grilled salmon, tuna and scallop sashimi, bakery goods, etc.) Relaxation room and spa on 13F including free popsicle from 1500 to 2500 and free noodles from 2130 to 2300 at the restaurant on 4G. 10 minutes walk from JR Aomori station (which has several restaurants as well including a Starbucks). About 10 minutes walk from the pier though in winter, snowdrift will detour you. Speaking of, road are clear, sidewalks, not so much so get an IDL.

The room was small but very clean and comfortable. The staff was generally warm and inviting, and provided patience with the language barrier. It’s not the most soundproof hotel and you’ll hear people, but the common baths on the top floor more than make up for it. I’d stay again!

Spacious room (compared to other hotels in Japan), staff were very friendly and helpful, able to communicate in English, hotel was clean and in a great location. 部屋は少し狭いが清掃が行き届いており、朝食はご当地のグルメ盛り沢山でとても美味しかった。 浴場は内湯のほか、露天風呂、水風呂、壺風呂、サウナがありかなり充実している。 また湯上がり後の憩いのスペースでは漫画読み放題、アイス食べ放題、マッサージチェア使い放題で、観光そっちのけで滞在したいと思わせられるほど満足のいくホテルだった。 夜食ではラーメンを提供してくれ、りんごジュースも飲み放題である。こんな親切心溢れるホテルはなかなか無いと思う。また青森に来る機会が有れば、絶対に滞在したい。
