10/10 Excellent

"I stayed for 3 nights and it was fantastic! I visited TN for the first time to visit Dollywood, this hotel is about 10 minutes from the park, and an easy drive. I checked in late on a Saturday, parking was tough as they were sold out, but the man at the desk, he said he retired from UPS, was super friendly, as we chatted around midnight about my travels and his history/relocating to TN. When I asked about check out time he offered a noon check out which was very appreciated! They also honored my top floor request and I had room 590, a River view King with Jacuzzi and fireplace! While the hotel could be considered dated with earth tones, I felt it matched the Smoky Mountain vibe, loved having a balcony, with the sound of the creek across the street, and my room was large and comfortable! Slept great, AC and fridge worked well, and the shower water pressure was excellent! Grounds were well kept! DAILY housekeeping too, returned to fresh towels daily. I liked how the front desk sold two dollar soda's and dollar waters, very convenient. Everything worked in my room, minus a flickering light bulb in a lamp, the large jetted tub was relaxing, as was the lovely stone fireplace! Breakfast is in it's own building, in the center of the property with indoor/outdoor seating, it was stocked well, although they ran out of milk Tuesday morning, and it was the same food daily. I found the sausage a bit too salty and eggs were lackluster. Love the yogurt machine though! Great hotel!"
