Perfect stay

We stayed here one night on the way home to the UK and wished we had longer. The guest house and individual rooms are impeccably decorated and the owners are brilliant. We had Dinner in the evening with all of the other guests which was 3 course and amazing.

Un petit bijou aux portes de la Bourgogne

En route vers une semaine de vacances en Bourgogne nous avons feit notre première halte au Puits d'Athie. Le lieu est un enchantement : ancien monastère rénové avec goût et tout le confort moderne, les nouveaux propriétaires ont su insuffler une âme chaleureuse et cosy grâce à une décoration éclectique et colorée. Le jardin fleuri est une splendeur. La table d'hôte est gourmande et l'accueil des propriétaires charmant. Qui afinereit qu'un tel havre de paix existe si proche de Paris et si accessible (sortie autoroute proche)? Par ailleurs, un bon point de fixation pour visiter Sens, Auxerre,, la Puysaie... Nous reviendrons plus longtemps !

Vieil hôtel magique: savoureux et confortable

C'est un ancien monastère. Le propriétaire vous accueille chaleureusement et prépare un délicieux déjeuner sur demande. Très bel endroit, mobilier très confortable. Le propriétaire est poli. Nous avons bien dormi, bien mangé et bien reposé. Merci beaucoup!

This property is absolutely lovely. We were on our way from Lyon to Paris and wanted to stop over somewhere for the night. We picked the perfect spot. The property is absolutely beautiful and we went to the end of the street where there was a lovely bench next to a stream to relax from the days drive. The owners were very friendly and accommodating. The meals they served were delicious and we were so happy to have the company of some other guests. They were all French, and sadly we don't speak much French, but they were happy to muddle through with us. What fun! Don't hesitate to book this property!

Such a lovely property in an old, beautifully renovated and well kept monastery. The owners were wonderful hosts and welcomed us with warmth and care. We were very tired after driving all day and they made us comfortable in their gorgeous garden with drinks and snacks. Lovely decor, comfortable rooms and charming owners!
