Vacation home in the Archanes with balcony

Small holiday village with traditional country houses in the picturesque village of Archanes, about 15 km south of Heraklion. The listed buildings have been carefully restored and offer modern comfort. A beautifully overgrown garden is available to all guests. Delicious food and drinks from the traditional Cretan cuisine are served here on request. Located at the foot of the holy mountain Juchtas, Archanes is one of the most charming villages in Crete. If you want to live quietly and avoid the bustling coastal towns of the east, this is the place for you. From here you can visit the archaeological site without having to travel too far. The village has a long history, important archaeological sites and interesting architecture. The monasteries of Panagia, Agia Paraskevi and Agia Triada with their Byzantine frescoes are well worth seeing. In the village there are typical taverns and famous wine production places.
