Hotel Krušo

10/10 Excellent

"The wonderful thing about kruso was the staff. They were so helpful and considerate. Nothing was too much trouble. They always helped us find spoons which were strangely lacking next to the cereals! Having the kruso beach to go to was great however they decided to do major maintenance work whilst we were there which was off putting for example with two cement mixers and a generator. One day they were also demolishing a seating area for konoba kruso- we decided to go to a different beach!! One or two things could be improved but they are minor points eg heated towel rail not working in one of the rooms and the coffee was strangely sweet /not very nice at breakfast. The pool was icy cold but great when combined with the sauna. The view from the rooftop was fantastic. They could do with a crossing outside the hotel. The road is very busy and people will inconsiderately park on the pavement outside."

The transfer that they offer is also excellent from a Mercedes E Class to a minibus if required.The restaurant choice was brilliant Bread and wine on the terrace and the main restaurant by the marina, are in both and not disappointed at all."

"This property is situated in a great central location in Herceg Novi. Our room was recently renovated to very modern standards, with a fridge, and kettle. However the kettle was situated in an area with no socket to plug it in, not a major problem i know, we just moved it. The room could have done with 2 glasses for water/juice.As only 2 small coffee cups are provided with 1 sachet of coffee for 2 of us for a week. The air conditioning was very good. The bed was very comfy with good bedding. Towels where changed 3 times in our weeks stay we were also provided with 2 huge beach towels. Our room had a large mirror situated behing the entrance door. My husband tripped over the threshhold breaking the mirror, this could have been avoided by placing it better, we informed the owner and paid for the damage. Overall a lovely, well maintained place to stay."

"I had an absolutely wonderful week-long vacation at this beautiful apartment! From the moment I arrived, I knew I'd made the right choice. The apartment is a little spartan, but exactly as pictured—what you see is truly what you get. The stunning view was one of the highlights of my stay, and the location is fantastic, offering convenient access to everything I needed. The owner was incredibly helpful and responsive, making the entire experience smooth and enjoyable. One thing worth noting: it's a 557-step walk to the sea on foot (in terms of horizontal movement, not elevation change), but honestly, it's completely worth it for the price you're paying. The apartment is elevated, dont get me wrong, but manageable. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a vacation spot with excellent views, a great location, and an attentive owner who genuinely cares about guests having a great stay. This is the kind of place that makes you want to come back."

"A wonderful spot!!! Milorad and Lidija were excellent hosts and have a beautiful home. The pride they take in their home is evident in all aspects of the property. The pool was spotless and where we spent most of our hours. The terrace view was amazing. Would recommend this property to anyone travelling to Montenegro and very much appreciate Milorad and Lidija’s hospitality."

"What a wonderful apartment for us to explore Herceg Novi from. Milo and Lydia could not have made us more welcome and even helped us source fresh fish to grill in the outdoor kitchen (one of the highlights with some great cooking tips). They went above and beyond so many times to make our stay comfortable and provided a very well priced car to the airport too. The apartment was clean, basic with stunning views across the bay. We made regular use of the pool which was ideal for relaxing in peace away from the crowds. The only visitor poolside was the most curious tortoise I have ever known! It is around a 15 minute walk into the old town or a €3-4 taxi. The walk back was an enjoyable challenge, but on a hot day would need to be followed by a shower! We would definitely go back."
