"The phone did not work, was told they would check it the next day. So no phone for my one night stay. Wire's were hanging down under desk and unplugged? I pulled down the sheet on bed, pillow cover had stained blood on it. I took a picture of course. Once in bed room 302, looked up and ceiling was falling apart and sagging down from I guess water damage, they painted over it but piece still was hanging off. Called front office from my cell phone 3 times no answer."

"The room was clean but it was a smoking room. The one that I ordered through Hotels.com wasn't available or ready. I was told if I wanted a non smoking room to come back. I didn't want to do that because I was tired. The lady behind the desk at check- in thought I got my room months prior. I smiled and said that Hotels.com was excellent to me and I just got it. She was surprised but Hotels.com has been great to me as a customer. The room was okay and it did have a bathtub. It was quiet and I slept well. Checking out, there was a young man who was doing check out and he saw me walking to the office. He didn't want to deal with me for whatever reason and pretend he was on the phone. I could have stood there but instead, I dropped my key off in the front and walked out. Other than that the Fremont North location is a okay one."

"The house was a little better than a backpacking place. The fixtures were rusted, door locks were coming off and blinds were broken and some of them including the ones in the master bedroom couldn’t be opened or closed. We had to be in a master bedroom whose blinds were broken incomplete and couldn’t be closed or opened so we had to get dressed in a tiny bathroom where there was insufficient light. Wall shelves were broken and the microwave was sooo rusted and had paint bubbles that if I post a pic you will throw up. There is NO AIR CONDITIONING (we knew that) but being unable to open and close and windows made it hell on a warm day. The yard had trash bags from previous renters (I presume) some of which was strewn in front of the front door. There aren’t enough beds for 14 at best for 9 with cheap mattresses to be put on the floor for 2 more (who hopefully are not over 5 ft 9 inches). The light was constantly flickering in one bedroom so those guests couldn’t turn it out without getting a seizure. The floors were so dirty and the bathroom didn’t have any mats so if you showered and walked out with wet feet, your feet would be covered with something like black soot. Some bedrooms didn’t have mirrors, paint was peeling off some walls. It was terribly insulting to have our guests stay there but we were a big party and couldn’t move anywhere else at such short notice. We moved our a day earlier. ABSOLUTELY HATED THE STAY!!!! I have pictures and videos of all this"

"My husband and I were stunned the first night upon entering the home as the property was listed as entire home and it had the word bungalow in it. We thought we were staying in an attached private bungalow. We climbed 2 long flights of steps to the small bedroom and slept well that night. Currently, there is no dresser in the bedroom, just a closet. We suggested that she put one in and she was receptive to this idea. Our private bathroom was new, modern and very clean. Although, we were sharing the house with the host, she was very accommodating, friendly, and respected our privacy. The house was super clean and beautiful. She allowed us to use her garage to park our car. The shared kitchen is quite large and I was able to do my Zoom book club in the dining area. We stayed for a week and were happy in the end."
