"We love the iron horse but this last visit, there were a group of people only 6 guest staying at the hotel others that came in from other locations that took over the courtyard. They were very loud and inconsiderate and nothing was done about it for hours until the cops were called by the owner in Texas. They pulled all tables and sitting areas together in the courtyard leaving no room for any other guest to enjoy. Very disappointed in the situation and how it was handled. No apologies, no compensation for the inconvenience."

"Everything was great. My only gripe was that I had someone stay in at least one of the rooms next to me (either 104 or 106) each night. Because the walls are fairly thin it was easy for me to wake up to any noise coming from these rooms. For some reason everyone felt it ok to slam their entry door each time they came in or out no matter what the time. The last night was the worst. As I had a 7 hour drive after checking out, the constant sleep interruption from 104 almost made me fall asleep behind the wheel. 😓 "
