"Platzl Hotel was a good choice for our party of four on holiday. One of its greatest assets is its location. The property needs a refresh, and amenities like electrical outlets at bedside need to be installed. The multi-lingual staff were friendly without fawning. The little bar and cafe at the front of the building has a very limited menu. The associated high-end restaurant was excellent."

"The rooms were clean upon arrival, just keep in mind that they do not clean the rooms every day. I arrived on a Thursday night and our rooms didn't get cleaned until Sunday, but when I requested it at the front desk, they cleaned the next day and additional supplies can be requested at any time. The breakfast was good, basic but enough to get the day started. They do replenish often and they have a 24/7 coffee and tea bar which is a plus. We do not speak German but most of the staff there speak English so we didn't have difficulty communicating. Only down side is parking, they charge either by the hour or for the day. We opted to pay hourly since we would leave early in the morning and come back late at night so it was cheaper than paying for the day, but the parking lot is clean and spacious. Overall, it was a good experience. "

"The breakfast is great. Rooms are great. Staff is great. My only concern would be the two single beds pushed together instead of a real queen sized bed. The beds tend to separate and someone can fall between 😧😳😬"
