This place is a basic as it comes, no frills. Room is fine and everything is in good working order. The location is fine right in the heart of Aswan and next to the market. The breakfast is totally forgettable and we even skipped it on our final day. There is definitely room for improvement there.
The hotel was clean and comfortable, staff was really on the ball. They arranged a car for us to Luxor, with a couple of stops along the way (I recommend this). The only drawback for some people may be that it's adjacent to the bazaar. We found it charming to sit on the balcony and observe the hustle and bustle of the bazaar. Also, it closed at a reasonable hour. Still, if you want peace and quiet at 8am, you may want to at least ask for a room on the other side of the hotel.
My stay was quite fine. The hotel is very nice. The rooms are rather spare in design but seem recently refurnished in soft light sage color, white ceiling, beige tile floor, black furniture. The bathroom had new fixtures. The staff is marvelous and friendly even packing me a breakfast to take to the airport for my 7:00 a.m. flight. The hotel is right near the Souk, or great Market, so it is in a busy area, though also walking distance to the river and various boat trips on felucca or motorboat.

The level of noise was extremely uncomfortable. All night til 4 am. The problem was that the windows are not double pane. But being located ehere it is, it's a must....all the activity of aswan happens around the hotel and we are talking super loud music, hoards of dogs, cars and honking cars.
Additionally the lobby is nice but once you get yo the bedroom levels the hotel shows abandonnent. Baths are just transformed to better shower and sink poorly designed. And they are petty eith towels snd toiletries. I am unsure the stars has but besides ** would be crazy.
Breakfast was very poor as well.
Now, i must say, the staff is fabulous, really caring and agreable. But they cannot provide what is not there.
This one night stay was extension to our stay due to error in check out date .
Packed breakfast was given as we need to start travel back home at 06:30.
Excellent value for money , clean air conditioned room , welcome water bottle & fruits , Egyptian breakfast , extremely courteous staff .
We had error in checkout date , hotel staff extended their hospitality by letting us book another night at same price & same room . Very impressed with hotel staff .
The hotel is in a very run down condition. The rooms are in very poor condition. The area is noisy. Breakfast is inadequate. Check in took a very very long time. Very unpleasant condition

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
I stayed 5 days in this hotel and unfortunately I never had hot water in the shower.
Check-in was total chaos, because they could not pull up my reservation even after showing them my confirmation from Expedia. It took them almost 30 minutes to check me in. I had 2 rooms in the booking, and ultimately they gave me a small room as one of my rooms which is not what I had paid for. Bathroom was in a sad state and water would not remain confined within the shower box and mess up the bathroom floor.
This a good an convenient property for a short stay. It is well located in a very busy area, a couple of blocks from the river Nile.
The staff is friendly but not very efficient, but they try. Language is a bit of a challenge.

Cheap and Cheerful
Cheap and cheerful right near the Aswan night market in walking distance to all places. For us it was a convenience stop. Dont expect too much but also its not wjat some people say. Its jist a basic hotel with a bed, bathroom and clean towels. Breakfast was limited (one boiled egg, tomatoes, cheese, cucumber, banana and tea/coffee.

The light was too low, the TV was too old and the room was too small for a married couple.
Room in terrible condition, filthy, sticky carpet in room. Bathroom had water spilling from somewhere, perhaps the toilet fill hose, causing the floor to be very slippery with potential for falls. Tub and shower awkward to use as tub very narrow. Shower curtain set up was useless. Staff was wonderful.

Mediocre
It was mediocre. There was confusion about the pricing when we arrived, which was disappointing and frustrating. More money than it’s worth for sure. Very old and average.

Average Hotel
The hotel is situated in a good location which is closed to the mall and railway station.
Staffs are very friendly and helpful. The room is very basic with no free water, kettle and coffee bag/tea bags provided.
Tv channels are limited but have English movies to watch.
The bathroom needs some upgrading and the shower area is very small and difficult to bath. Hot water supply is good.
The carpet is very dusty as well as the table and chair outside the balcony.
The hotel needs to work on all the doors as I have to use strength to open and close which create a lot of noises. During my stay, my neighbors came back home very latel and were banging the door in the middle of the night which disrupted my sleep.
The restaurant doesn't open till late as told. I went down at 5pm and was told that they do not serve dinner but there were few groups of local tourists sitting there.
Overall it is still an ok hotel but needs some improvement on their premises.
