Very efficient check in and check out. Shuttle was great. Nice facilities but locating a nice place to eat without a car was difficult. Also found the prices in snack shop to be very high.

Everything was unique about the property. The animals, the pool, the rooms and common areas. Absolutely amazing and phenomenal. The drive to get there gets steep but once you have arrived, breathtaking.

Once you arrive at The Retreat it's hard to go. The place is dedicated to well being and down time. Nothing is walkable.

Atenas is a small town, but has all the conveniences and a great climate. There are plenty of dining options from small local restaurants (sodas) to eclectic dining options. The residents are friendly and go out of their way to help you.
