Safe quiet residential neighborhood just 4 miles from downtown/UGA ( 8-10 min easy drive or Uber) Just close enough to enjoy all Athens has to offer, yet far enough to have quiet, safety and privacy when you need it. 1 queen bed, 1 folding cot , and a sofa, a smart TV with ROKU, NETFLIX A small kitchenette, Large shower, private fenced yard with deck and off street parking. We allow dogs but you must add to reservations there is a pet fee

The one thing that didn't make sense was that the only refrigerator available was a wine refrigerator and it was too warm for our food so most of our food was ruined. The place was clean and pretty comfortable.

Last min 4th of July trip

I had to come back home to Georgia on a last min trip and this place was one of the few left in the area. Great price! Great location, easy check in and check out! Very quiet and private.

Super cute, in a quiet location

We had a great stay at Nomehaus while in town for an event at the convention center. My kids loved finding the hidden upgrades like the disco party switch and even the bidet. We had everything we needed for a quiet, cozy night. Will stay again.

Wonderful home

Nomehaus was a whimsical, comfortable delight. Very clean and well-appointed, with lots of fun and thoughtful touches. Good location convenient to anywhere we wanted to go. Good WiFi and we really enjoy the yard and deck, and the disco ball! Would stay again and again.

Great weekend getaway spot

We travel to Athens frequently and plan on staying here again. Very quiet area and convenient to everything. The property was clean and well maintained. AC was nice and cold and the shower was nice and hot! Thanks for a comfortable stay!

Cute container home in a quiet neighborhood

The Nomehaus was a pleasant retreat in a quiet neighborhood. I wasn’t sure what to expect for my first time staying in a “tiny house” but it more than serve my needs as a place to stay while in town visiting friends. Thomas was extremely helpful with a couple of items I’d left behind, offering to send them to me if someone wasn’t able to return to pick them up. Will absolutely stay here again when I’m in town, if it’s available!

awesome experience

In town fory granddaughter Bday. We spent just one night at the Nomehaus, but could have easily spent more in total comfort. The place has loads of character and a disco ball. Pretty Awesome! My wife and I danced the night away with youtube music under the disco lights. Tons of fun! Thomas was a great host that let us do early check-in. 100% Recommend.

Great stay! Unique, Cozy, and Well-Equipped!

This. Place. Is. AWESOME. The Nomehaus shipping container is easily among the top three coolest places we’ve ever stayed. The space is super-efficient, and nothing feels wasted. Even though it’s small, it somehow felt spacious and cozy at the same time. It had everything we needed and even things we didn’t expect, like earplugs, a sound machine, water bottles, and a fully stocked coffee/tea setup. The “emergency disco party” was exactly what we needed after a long day of travel. It was fun, unique, and energizing! The place felt private, safe, and so well thought-out. We could go on and on, but if you get the chance to stay here, do it. We’ve been visiting Athens for years and only wish we’d found this spot sooner!
