Studio for 3/private entrance, bath, WiFi, Netflix/2.5 mi to town/pets

This tranquil garden suite is below our home with private entrance, kitchenette, laundry and bath. The kitchenette has a mini fridge, electric grill, microwave & kettle. We always have coffee, tea, chocolate, and a bottle of wine for our guests. In the main room there are two beds (queen & twin), a dedicated workspace. TV with Netflix and streaming provided.

Brand new tongue and groove insulated ceiling - cuts down on noise from upstairs.

Outside the yard is surrounded by woods and gardens. We have a fire pit with firewood. Feel free to invite a small group of friends to enjoy the outdoors.

The room is large and set up as a studio. The couch is converted into a queen size bed with a 3" memory foam mattress added. Super comfortable. To the side of the bed is a Serta couch that converts to a twin bed, also with 3 inch foam. The attached bathroom is private with an on demand hot water system, so you will never run out of hot water. The kitchenette is in the laundry room. Laundry room is shared for extended stays.

The 42" Roku TV has streaming channels with Netflix provided. There is a DVD player with a variety of movies available. A small patio is outside the sliding glass door. The yard is available for you with a fire pit and firewood. All doors in the main room are equipped with a lock. The ceiling is tongue and groove boards with insulation. There is a new quiet ceiling fan. I try to be quiet, but you may hear some footsteps above.

Our neighbors have 2 friendly dogs who come to visit guests, especially if they are the four legged type. The neighbors also have free range chickens who like to scrounge around my year. Be sure your pets are secured. We don't want any dead chickens.

We are less than a 10-minute drive to Ohio University & downtown Athens. Our home sits at the end of a dead-end street in a peaceful wooded setting. We try to accommodate early check-in and late check-out.
