Before I left the US, I asked a couple questions on hotels.com and didn’t receive answers. That was nerve wracking. (The listing says it includes laundry and I asked 4 times. They never responded, but there’s no laundry available.) What I discovered is that the company uses AI through text messages and doesn’t actually answer questions on hotels.com.
When we arrived, it was easy to find the key, but difficult to find the actual apartment. I didn’t receive the text about taking the elevator to the 2nd floor so there was a good bit of confusion. The local manager arrived and truly saved the day. She is fantastic.
The location is phenomenal. We stayed 9 days and didn’t have difficulty sleeping even when the bar downstairs was really busy. We could hear it, but it didn’t bother us.
Check out was easy. We just put the key back in the lockbox.
The only real complaint I have about the stay is that we had to ask for a change of sheets, towels, and trash cans. Nine days is a long time to have the same towels and you can’t flush the toilet paper in Athens so… eek. Despite that, we would absolutely reserve the room again.
There’s a candy store on the corner that’s got the NICEST people working there and the BEST jelly candy. There is a small grocery directly across the street that was useful even if the lady working there is cranky. There are loads of restaurants, bars, stores, etc close by and transportation is super easy between buses, metro, and uber.
