"Clean rooms, one room however an electric blind didn’t work and as the reception closed at 8.30pm made it difficult to sleep early morning. We didn’t stay for breakfast. "

"Stayed two nights with two kids. Pool area was great. Didn't feel packed. Needed a reservation for dinner at the hotel restaurant, but dinner choices were excellent. Staff were all helpful. Rooms did get a bit warm and we were there when it was slightly cooler out, but windows could open adequately enough to get a breeze. It's a bit remote, which we read in another review so we expected that, but can feel a little isolating. The little town is great."

"This little house is perfect for small family stays. Refurbished and equipped to a very high standard, in a beautiful part of Normandy. Walks and bike rides on your doorstep, and so much to see and enjoy only a short drive away. We appreciated the comfortable beds, a kitchen with everything you need, an excellent shower, and a lovely dual aspect open-plan living space. Bedrooms are compact but have plenty of wardrobe space. We were there during the severe heatwave, but the elevated setting of the gite meant it stayed reasonably cool even on the hottest days.We didn't meet the owner as she was away, but the lady looking after the property was so helpful and welcoming, and all the messaging was very efficient and prompt.There is off-road parking, a little orchard, and a nice back garden space to sit out. We definitely want to come back when it's not over 90 degrees for days on end, so we can enjoy the gorgeous surroundings properly.Highly recommend this gite!"
