This house is located is south Austin roughly 15 minutes from downtown. There is a huge shopping center 2 minutes from the house. There is a large grocery store called H-E-B that is easily walkable. The "Far Out Lounge" music venue and bar is about a ten minute walk away. There are breweries close and all the shopping you would need. Easy access to I-35 for a quick way to get around town (outside of morning and afternoon rush) House is in a great location and is stocked up.

Great getaway

My sisters and I really enjoyed staying at this property while in Austin for the Texas Book Festival. It's far enough away from downtown to skip the crazy that can happen after dark, but close enough to get there for activities. The property owner is wonderful to work with - very responsive to questions and requests. Property is exactly as depicted. Will book here again!

Texas Vacation

My family is from Kentucky, and we had a great time. The house was clean and nice. We felt right at home in this property. I would definitely recommend staying at this property. The property location is 15 minutes from the airport and there was a grocery store right up the street so, access to food was easy to stock the refrigerator. There were also several restaurants location within a 5-minute drive.

Austin Stay

I met my sister and cousin for a quick trip to Austin. We all had our kids and it was Comfy for all of us. And there was a big ice storm while we were there so we spent more time in the house than we anticipated but we’re happy to be together and catch up. Easy access to stores in about 15 minutes to downtown.

The owner was very quick to respond to questions. The property was a great deal for UT graduation weekend, we spent most of the day near the campus so we only used the accommodations for sleeping and the beds were very comfortable. The drive to UT took about 20-25 minutes.

Nice home.

Everything was fairly nice in the home. The grass was really overgrown though and needed some attention. The towels were in the dryer and not folded and put away. So we had to search for them. The carpet could have been vacummed a bit more because there was long hair in the master bedroom. Also the trash cans were pretty full when we added our own trash but yet we put them to the street anyway. The water pressure is extremely low in the showers so that did not make that too enjoyable. It was a nice stay just needed some minor improvements.

Great Stay!!

The house was amazing, spacious enough for my large family. Clean and had everything we needed. Loved that it has a roll away bed and a play pen. Quiet neighborhood and in close proximity to many shops and restaurants.

We go to Texas every year for moto gp. This is the first time we stayed at a house close to COTA .Great location to everything . So much to do! Quiet neighborhood, owner has awesome communication . He worked with us on bringing our dogs and using the garage to store our bikes during our stay. Backyard was fully fenced. Super clean house. Ac blows cold what more could you ask for

Neal was great ! Our main issue - we could not shower in the upstairs bathroom- only dribbles of water from shower We all had to shower in the master bedroom showerHouse needs more cooking supplies - not enough cups, glasses and coffee mugs for six people kitchen very bare if you want to cook

Austin Experience

Visited Austin to celebrate grandson’s 21st birthday. My son lives and works in Austin so it was great to have a 3 bedroom home to stay with family. The home was clean and comfortable. I was able to sync my home YouTube TV to the internet and enjoy some of my favorite shows. I’ve had VRBO several times before to visit Austin but this was the best so far.

Our stay at this beautiful VRBO property exceeded all expectations! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the attention to detail and the comfort provided. Weekend Getaway

We chose this house to stay at because we were going to the Harry Potter A Forbidden Forest Experience and this house was the closest to it. It really is a cozy and comfortable house. The owner is really nice. We rent houses through VRBO often for vacations or weekend getaways and this is only the second time I’ve had an owner personally reach out to me to let me know if we need anything to just let him know. Would definitely rent from him again if we’re ever in the Austin area again.

Good and bad

The bad- water pressure is really bad and taking a shower here was painful. The water literally dribbles out of the shower head. The house is overall a little ran down. Mold in the bathroom... The dog next store will not allow you to go outside without it barking constantly. Barks at night as well but seems to go inside around 9 or 10. There are cameras outside, in the garage and an alexa (or alexa type of unit) that was in the living room. We didn't know if this gives the owner the ability to listen in on conversations and overall made us uncomfortable. The good-The check in process was well organized and the owner communicated well. The house is near restaurants, a grocery store and not far from Austin downtown. The rooms are good sized and beds were comfortable for us. Parking was easy and the neighborhood seems safe. It has a washer and dryer that worked well. All appliances worked well and there was just enough pots, pans, plates and cups to get us through.Overall, for a low budget place this likely works well for most people. I could have overlooked all of the short comings except the water pressure issue.
