You’ll find all of that here at Casa Zephyr. Almost 2,200sf, this house has been modernized to fit your travel needs. It’s a smart house. It’s open and spacious. It’s ideal for large groups. And it backs up to green space and park.

Casa Zephyr can accommodate up to 14 folks. Large master down with en-suite bathroom. Three bedrooms upstairs with a 2nd LR & bathtub shower. Main floor also includes separate powder room and laundry room with W/D. Sunken/Step down main living room (watch your step upon entry) & floor to ceiling windows will brighten your mood immediately.

HOUSE RULES
- quiet hours are from 9pm - 9am
- no shoes inside the house
- no pets allowed; however, we do have recommendations for boarding services should you need them - some offer discounts on our behalf
- no smoking inside the home, only in the rear yard please; get rid of your cigarettes responsibly; $300 fine if smoke smell is found inside the home
- no parties or events permitted
- extra guests must be registered PRIOR to check in; unregistered guests or visitors incur a fee of $150/visitor - no exceptions
- cleaning fee does not cover taking out your trash or picking up after yourselves; if the house is not found in the similar condition that you had checked in, then you are responsible for additional cleaning fees charged by our cleaner. Please be respectful and considerate of this house. The nominal cleaning fee charged to you doesn't cover messes. There are paper and kitchen towels with cleaning products for you to pick up after yourselves. Thank you.
- do not use the fireplace --- it is off limits for safety reasons. $500 fee if is found to be used

CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT
- positive government ID required prior to check-in for all guests (feel free to text them to me)
- refer to House Manual at house (please read upon arrival)
- early check in or check out requires prior approval to booking; early or late check out incurs a fee of $75/hour

Please use common sense and be considerate of the space provided for you to enjoy. Any reports from our neighbors of loud noise will automatically get you evicted from the house. This is a residential neighborhood so please keep that in mind. Parties and events are not permitted. We do not tolerate rude or disrespectful guests. Please enjoy the house and give us any feedback on anything. This is our livelihood and we enjoy providing a clean, safe and comfortable space for you!

Not as expected

Would not stay here again. Cleanliness, pests, smell were the main drawbacks. There was not a functional deadlock on the rear of the home. We underestimated the amount of steps on the main level (living room, kitchen, master bed and bath), sobe advised if you have anyone with mobility challenges.

Peaceful

My Stay went smooth! They texted me before I arrived. The code worked right away! It was very spacious, didn’t even use two bedrooms out of four. One unique thing about the house, the bathroom! because, you have to step down, to get to the toilet. Thought that was pretty neat.

The house was clean and tidy. Plenty of bedding, towels, amenities, and the hosts were very kind and helpful during the stay. This was a great space for us and everyone was comfortable and happy during the stay. Thank you!

Unsafe; appliances not working; bait and switch

The security deadbolt on the rear door is broken. The house was unlocked when we arrived. The flooring has holes and seams lifting up in traffic areas that are tripping hazards. The living room is shown with easy chairs, leather furniture, area rug, and hardwood floors, but has none of these. The enclosed patio is shown with seating available, but has none. The deck is shown with table and chairs, but has none. The garage is stacked with junk, including old appliances and the leather furniture that is missing from the living room. The microwave was broken when we arrived, throwing sparks and creating a fire hazard. The owner replaced the microwave. The clothes washer was full of mold and mildew and could not be used. The dishwasher is full of rust and water deposits and cannot be used. Bottom line: This house looks gorgeous on the listing, but looks worse than a frat house in person. I don’t mind renting budget properties, I have done it before, and I will do it again. But this property is advertised and priced as a luxury property, which is a serious misrepresentation by the owner. The owner has ignored our request for a partial refund. The owner/manager was very timely in responding to us, but simply did not care about these issues.

Great house for a quick trip to the area

Plenty of space for everyone staying. Quiet neighborhood with quick access to a grocery store. Would use them again in a heartbeat.

Some pros and cons with this place. Pros - big and roomy. Lots of room for us to spread out. Location good - 5 min to Woodbine Mansion where we attending wedding. Host responsive. Nice kitchen. Coffee stocked. Great price. Quiet neighborhood. Cons - pictures old. Place a little dinged up; chair marks on walls; gouges in laminate flooring; lots of weeds growing through rocks in back yard. Master bed mattress pretty old but I slept just fine. Very nice host; accommodated our request for a later checkout.

Not like pictured but adequate

The pictures on line must be from quite a while ago. While the house does get good light, the walls are dirty and beat up, as is the flooring and one couch cushion. The kitchen is the highlight of the house and the appliances are pretty new, which is nice. The sun room is also nice in the winter but would also benefit from some TLC. There are a good amount of pots and pans and utensils but there is only one larger (serving/mixing) bowl and one dishtowel. There are a few spices which is nice and places to put your stuff in the pantry. The hard water is terrible and the dishwasher is coated with calcium deposits as are some of the dishes. There are no rugs anywhere, not even in the entryway to catch dirt as people come in and take off their shoes. Dirt easily spreads from the entry to the rest of the house making it hard to go shoeless (as does some of the damage and stains on the floors). The mattresses are old and would benefit from at least a topper but they were comfy enough and we slept pretty well. There is a dresser in the master (although it's falling apart) which is nice as the master closet is locked. They did provide about 2 ft. of hanging space on a rack hooked onto the door. Towel racks are either non existent or have fallen off the wall and not been reinstalled. Washer and dryer are newer and worked great, we were happy to have them. The owners/managers ask what they can to do make this a 5 star property - none of the things I listed are things they could have done during our stay (probably should have been done before our stay) but would bring this property to its former glory as is shown in the pictures. All in all, once we got over the disappointment of it not being nearly as nice as pictured and cleaned a few things up we enjoyed our time in Round Rock.

A few problems, but nice location

We were all over 60 & it was a problem taking shoes off for inside without seat. Also there were step ups/downs in a number of places that caused us a few stumbles although they are marked. Everything else was great.

Our Texas Family Vacay

The house is spacious for a family of eight. Great for family with small children because the park is literally out the back gate. The bathroom sinks are low enough for a small child. There are single steps that could be dangerous, but as long as you and your family are aware of these steps it should be okay. The appliances are old and it looked like the previous guest didn't clean up well. I had to wipe down the tables and counter tops, wash the dishes, sweep and mop, clean the fridge, wash the towels and sheets. It may also be that there hasn't been anyone there for weeks or months. Minor damages that I noticed, flooring is cracked where the large couch is at, small crack in the master bathroom tub, the fridge door needs to be shut tightly. The garage was the only space that was filthy. We did not use it at all. The dryer lint catcher was filled with lint, I had to clean it out for it to work. All in all, my family enjoyed their stay and I rate the home a 4 star out of 5. We wish the next guests well and hope their stay will be as memorable as ours.

Great home in a nice neighborhood. Literally backs up to a park.

We enjoyed our time for a company off-site with the leadership team. Honestly with the proximity to downtown Round Rock and the beautiful park nearby, we just wished we had more time.

Binder of fees

Excessively high cleaning fee (more than a night at a hotel) yet instructed to sweep, vacuum, wash dishes, and do the laundry before leaving. “House Binder” was literally a list of fees including outrageous fee for not informing of any additional guests that they charge extra for on top of the house fee. fee for breaking any house rule. Received check-in instructions only 3 hours before check in time. Could not find the house because it has no house number.
