The Space:
At French Polo Estate, you can escape the bustling city in just minutes to this storybook setting and be a part of the luxurious, operational Victory Cheval Estate. Even as you enter through opulent gates to the manor, you will feel like you've traveled into a different time and place. Gated and bordered with stately white fences, the 88 acres includes a romantic countryside where horses graze near the stables and two enchanting ponds, surrounded by trees, provide homes to colorful ducks, turtles, and occasional geese. Beautifully landscaped, with a stunning pool, and view of the polo grounds, this French style stone chateau boasts 5750 square feet of enchanting architecture.
Enjoy grand luxury with everyday comforts in a home ideal for large groups, comfortably sleeping up to 28 guests. You can gather in the open floor plan of the living room, kitchen and informal dining area overlooking the polo field and pool to watch the sunset on the main floor, which also boasts two suites, an additional bedroom and a formal dining room. The formal dining room, which draws you into an era of French opulence, is the perfect space to enjoy food, wine and romance of the evenings spent enjoying time with family and friends. The downstairs offers three bedrooms, a large bunk room, a TV room complete with board games, and a billiards room perfect for a small group to challenge the next winner!
For lovers of the outdoors and romantics alike, the northern 35 acres of Victory Cheval Estate have been designated an Eco-Zone by the property owner. If visiting during the spring, an amazing array of flowers blanket the property like a floral painting of nature. Walking the trails provides a beautiful vista and sunset, and a quiet escape to nature and everyday life, while being so close to everything the city of Austin has to offer.

This property is huge and has plenty of space for large family get together. The back terrace and patio are great for sitting outside for meals, morning coffee, and dinner and drinks . Loved the view! The pool was very clean, refreshing and our kids loved playing in it! Large kitchen was perfect for making large meals . Location was close to downtown and made it easy to get around Austin.
We were looking for a spacious home and this was perfect! Well equipped kitchen and the pool was an added bonus. Kind of far from Austin but splitting the Uber made it affordable. There was a polo match during our stay which we enjoyed
This is a wonderful place for relaxation. The space is wonderful. I loved the scenery. It's calm and peaceful. I would love to go back for a spiritual retreat. No children just enjoy Gods wonder
Spacious, comfortable, home, beautiful backyard and pool. Easy sleeping, meal prep and serving for 20. Great location for Austin area events. Patience/understanding required for long, brick drive needing minor repair and high sensivity to even daytime walks on property.
We had a delightful stay in this beautiful property. Plenty of room for all of us, gorgeous grounds, and at this time of year when the temperatures were quite warm, the pool was so refreshing.
Located near Manor, Texas, it was only a 20 to 30 minute drive to Austin for any sightseeing that anyone wanted to do.
We would definitely recommend this home if you’re in a situation where you have several guests that want to stay together. In our case, we had two families with ample room for everyone to have their own bedroom.
If anything needed attention, the property manager was on top of the situation and communication with Walker Property Resorts was absolutely excellent.
We loved every moment of our stay!!!
House was very good, pool was excellent. House very isolated on a horse farm-- but within a few miles of anything you would need. Walker Luxery was excellent to deal with--easy to contact! TV Satellite was very spotty, internet was not good at all--impacted my adults who needed to work. Recommend some upgrades to these 2 issues--but that's the only concern.
Our group of adult friends gets together every year at a VRBO property. This was one of the best we have had in ten years. The estate is as advertised: large, clean, and near important highways for easy access to both the airport and downtown Austin, as well as north side suburbs like Pflugerville and Round Rock.
Walker Luxury Vacation Rentals was easy to deal with and their rules were in place for good reasons. This property isn’t ideal for party-oriented groups; we had a lot of traffic in and out but otherwise kept mostly to ourselves. The locals who tend the property, horses, and nearby buildings are kind and professional.
No issues other residents have had. Pool was clean and easily used during daylight hours. WiFi was capable for a few devices (their TV’s, for example) but we did overload it with a dozen laptops. Grounds are beautiful.
Thanks to everyone there we had a wonderful week.
French polo grounds killed it.
Positives: Property managers were very friendly and helpful. The house is perfect for a large gathering. 15 minutes from just about everything. The house is built for privacy and relaxation, and is an ideal spot to really spend some quality time with good people.
Negatives: Nothing major to report. The long driveway could use some major work, and Uber access is tricky. The gate doesn’t open from the inside if you’re on foot.
Advice: Plan some meals at the house, if you run out to grab take out every morning & night, you’re going to lose some serious time at the house. Drive carefully; you’ll be passing through an active horse stable to reach the house.
Overall: every rental has its own quirks, and this house certainly had them, but none took away from the experience of a fantastic weekend with friends.
Beautiful home with plenty of room for a large group. The house is starting to show its age, but it was very clean. The pool was bigger than expected and also very clean. A great place to hang out. The kitchen was well stocked with an extra refrigerator downstairs and a walk-in pantry. It worked well for our family reunion. We even got to see a polo practice session. Would recommend.
the house was beautiful and very spacious plus it was secluded which made it feel so peaceful especially with all the trees around us. Swimming pool was perfect although very deep but we all enjoyed using it every day. I really loved it and would definately come back!
We had a wonderful time at the French Polo Estate. There was plenty of space to accommodate the guests and the pictures featured on the listing were pretty accurate. The pool was clean and enjoyable. We had few guests who had issues with the AC and some of those issues were resolved while others remained unresolved, thus resulting in some guests sleeping out of their assigned rooms. There were not enough paper towels and toilet paper rolls to accommodate the guests for all three days of the trip but once management was contacted, the items were delivered on the last day of our stay. Just need to have enough of those items to cover the whole trip in the future. Some guests reported being wrongfully yelled at by the stables staff in a disrespectful and derogatory manner for driving over the speed limit and management has been informed and will investigate. Other than that, we had a great time and would recommend anyone who is looking for a secluded place in the middle of the city to stay at the French Polo Estate!
We had a terrific time at this French Polo property. The photographs of the house are exactly what you get. Beautiful house set on a horse farm and overlooking a polo field. They had everything to accommodate our large family. Would definitely do this again.
1. Property allows staying up to 25 people but only 5-6 vehicles!!??? 2. 5mph from the gate to the property. (We know how to control our speed if we see animals or children ( we only saw once...)3. The pool have been told that cleaned a day before we arrive but trash(toys) and dirty on the bottom ( see pictures)we are not dare to get in ... 4.
The property was wonderful seven bedrooms 4 1/2 bathrooms. Perfect for my group. On the property there are many horses to look at. You can even schedule a ride if you want. My only issue was the pool, it was very dirty someone did come, but did not clean the pool. That was the only disappointing part of the trip Would book again.

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, location
The pool was not clean when we arrived on Wednesday and was never cleaned throughout the weekend. They say that the pool gets cleaned on Thursday and not to turn the pool person away yet no one ever came to service the pool. There is not a light in the pool therefore, as soon as it gets dark, you basically have to get out the lights around. The pool are very dim if it all operational. The walk down to the pool from the deck is dangerous. There were multiple falls that we took as the loose pavers would just release as you were stepping down. There were many steps that don’t even have pavers there anymore.. It is really unfortunate that with the earth settling it has made the entire deck area of this home a dangerous, catastrophic falling hazard. There were lots of lights in the home and around the home that were burned out.. however the space was lovely inside and for the most part everyone was very comfortable. There was definitely opportunities where the Home fell so the AC was having difficulty keeping up, but overall we enjoyed our family time dealt with the scrapes and the bruises from falling, I wish years to go back, but would definitely be more cautious when outside. I would not suggest trying to use DoorDash or grocery delivery. Both of these were failed attempt and sent us into town anyway anyways.
It was a great facility for 12-15 of us to get together to celebrate a birthday. The house had plenty of room for everyone. The weather was great for the pool. We were even fortunate enough to watch part of a polo match from the back patio. Highly recommended.
It is a great house for a large family gathering and we had a wonderful time. The kitchen is well equipped. It has a great view of the polo field (and some pretty cranky horse people as well, which is unfortunate). The host was reasonably responsive. The house itself is expansive and is in moderate shape. Some of the features are outdated, but none caused us to have anything less than a great time. Most of the beds were comfortable and the bunk bed room was perfect for younger family members. One of the mattresses in the downstairs bedroom near the buck room was quite uncomfortable and caused one family member back issues for a day. Changing beds solved the problem. The grounds are lovely albeit in need of a little care. The gas grill eventually worked - the electric starter needed to be coaxed quite a bit and the drawers below the grill were full of water. The pool was quite nice and the walk around the property was enjoyable. Internet was ok, some streaming was spotty. All in all, we would come back again and know if you are considering this venue for a family gathering, you will not be disappointed. Finally, the barn cats are quite friendly, but be cautious if fleas.
