Top Avalon Peninsula Hotel Reviews
Alt Hotel St. John's
10/10 Excellent
"A very welcoming hotel in St John's CBD. Room was compact, but sufficient for a solo traveller. The rain shower in the bathroom was most welcome. Staff were helpful and professional."

"First time staying there, my only suggestion is to have real coffee creamer instead of coffee mate creamers."

Monastery Hotel
8/10 Good
"Staff was super friendly and helpful. The front staff and staff during breakfast were very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean. Im very sensitive to scent and the rooms and linens were fresh. We stayed at the second floor. They make up the room every 2nd day which was great. Fresh towels are replaced everyday too. Included free breakfast was great. It is not continental breakfast or a breakfast buffet. Instead, but you get to choose one breakfast meal everyday which was pleasant. Everything is made fresh. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I was skeptical because of the reviews I see online but we had an overall pleasant stay!"
The Murray Premises Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"We liked the downtown central location; everything about our room, the continental breakfast and the use of that room 24 hours was a really nice feature. The facilities were modern and included the amenities important for us. But the truly archaic tv setup is a mystery given the otherwise excellent facilities. The tv setup did not provide any menu listing or program information; very limited selection and impossible to get closed caption for the few programs that supposedly provided it. CC is a key benefit for seniors like me who have hearing issues. Nevertheless, enjoyed our stay and we would certainly highly recommend it. Ken and Gloria Mercer"
