Beautiful property & Beautiful staff. Family owned property, attention to detail. Very courteous. I was born in the area & had been wanted to stay overnight for a while. It was a bucket list item for myself. Will return. Thank you Olatz, daughter, she runs the show along with her mom Mari Carmen, thank you Alfredo, husband, thank you as well to Iosune & Giovani, that run the kitchen.

Can’t express our love for this place. Maria in particular, and the waitress at the restaurant (didn’t get her name) were absolute gems and made our stay super memorable. As we frequently drive from France through to Portugal and return, this will now be a regular stop for us and we’re already looking forward to revisiting.

Amazing!

Staff were amazing, welcoming and so kind. Homemade breakfast and dinner course was awesome as well. We had a course meal for dinner for only 18Euro each which included a whole bottle of wine. It was 40 min away from San Sebastián but I would stay at Larranaga again when I go back!

We planned to stay for only 1 night - but after the warm reception and the incredible meal we decided to stay an extra night. The building has been tastefully renovated - keeping its 400 year old charm while offering rhe modern comforts of stong water pressure, air conditioner and a lift! Definitely not a given even in 4 star accomodation in some of these smaller towns. The hotel owners make you feel like family - so lovely and hospitable. Highly recommend to anyone who wants a quality, comfortable, local experience.
