"Die folgende Bewertung schildert unsere Meinung von dieser Unterkunft.(Meinungen sind unterschiedlich) Die Pension Hofer liegt sehr ruhig in Bad Berneck. Parkplätze sind kostenlos vorhanden. Der Empfang war sehr freundlich, das einchecken verlief sehr zügig. Unser Zimmer im 2 Stock war zweckmäßig eingerichtet, ohne viel Extras. Es war eben ein Pensions Zimmer, kein Hotel. Das Bad war sehr dunkel, und klein. Die Dusche war nur sehr schwer zu verlasen, da das Bad sehr eng ist. Das Frühstück am...

"The hotel was closed when we arrived and no one would answer when the owner was called. We went by the next day and they were still closed. We contacted hotels.com and they couldn't get in touch with the hotel either. We tried to get a refund and they wouldn't give us our money back since we paid in advance. We had to find another hotel to stay at and it was more expensive. This place is closed! Don't book with them as you won't get your money back! "

"Vi brugte hotellet som transport hotel på vej til Østrig. Det ligger tæt på motorvejen, og har restaurant - begge dele godt. Ulempe var at der ikke var aircondition på værelset, og man med åbent vindue kunne høre nærliggende lastbils parkering. Maden OK, men betjeningen lidt langsom selvom venlig."

"Popped in for a quiet stay. Lots of walkers and bikers. Biker friendly place with nice hard surfaces. In the mountains, so lots of opportunities for winding roads. Some people even walk up in the mountains ;) Kitchen is closed on Tuesday, but everyone took pity on me, it had been a long time since breakfast. Very nice supper. "I visited summer during Bayreuth Festival, but the location and region are more catered for winter sports. Area is a bit quiet and there isn't much eating out or shopping around (except 2-3 restaurants and a single supermarket a town nearby), and 30-35 minutes from Bayreuth (and much cheaper to stay here than in Bayreuth during August when the Wagner events are going on). Services are good and staff is friendly. Otherwise what is available is fairly basic -- workable wifi internet but no air...
