Bei der Buchung und auf der Buchungsbestätigung war für die Wohnung immer die Adresse des Hotels angegeben, sprich mitten im Ort, direkt am Kurpark gelegen. "Pension Barbara is a very cosy and clean pension right next to the paths leading up to The Brocken. The hostess was very sweet and attentive, and we had a good stay. Schierke as a town is a bit dated and quiet in the autumn, when we visited. Is was difficulty to find a place to just have a couple of drinks etc. The national park, Brocken and paths are all excellent for a short hiking-holiday. Great nature, chalenging paths (if you want it), nice restaurant on the summit."

"When we arrived we were given a ticket to park the car in their own private car park, which was very helpful. The room was spacious and the amenities were well kept and clean. A very good location also, as it was placed in a beautiful part of Wernigerode but also only 10 minutes walk away from 2 of the Harz Railway stations and a mainline station. I would highly recommend this hotel."
