My room was large and airy, with a high ceiling, and the walls were painted white, fostering a wonderful spacious feeling. The full breakfast included both warm and cold options and a marvelous variety. Staff both for the breakfast and for the hotel in general were extraordinarily helpful, friendly, and supportive. The dining area is clean and beautifully lit.

In the middle of beautiful Bad Nauheim

The rooms were spacious, clean and well appointed. Television channels were lacking although coming to Bad Nauheim is more about getting around and not sitting around. If you come after 6pm, there is no one at the reception to greet you. An email will come in German and no English translation explaining how to get your key. Older place but that is part of the charm with it's Elvis room and Elvis shrine in the lobby. We didn't have the 12 Euro breakfast so no rating there. It is a short walk to all thing in the downtown shopping and sites to see area.

Noch nie so angaierte Mitarbeiter und Chefin im Hotel erlebt auch wenn das Mobiliar im Zimmer schon etwas älter wirken so ist die Sauberkeit und Funktionalität tip top das Frühstück war außergewöhnlich vielseitig und ausreichend es gab sogar einen ausgedruckten Wetterbericht vom 18.05.25 mit kleinem Rätsel, während des Frühstück trug die Eigentümerin noch eine Anekdote über Bad Nauheim von 1864 und dem Nachtwächter und das bohren nach Wasser sowie das Sprudelbad dar zu guter letzt wurde noch Erich Kästner rezitiert der über seinen Aufenthalt in Bad Nauheim Briefe an seine Bekannte verfasste alles in allem dieses Haus ist einen Besuch wert zumal auch noch viele Erinnerungen an "Den King" im Hotel zu sehen sind 👍👍👍👍

とてもアットホームで、お部屋も清潔でした。こじんまりしたホテルですがドイツを十分に感じることもできて、古い調度品なども清潔にしてありながら趣がありました。スタッフ皆さん笑顔が素敵で、4泊しましたが家に帰ったような安心感がありました。

Alle sind sehr freundlich. Die nette Dame am Empfang hat mir sehr viele Tips gegeben. Das Frühstück lässt keine Wünsche übrig und der Kühlschrank im Zimmer ist genial. Ein Wasserkocher ist auch vorhanden. Ein anderes Kissen war kein Problem. Ich würde es auf jeden Fall wieder buchen.

The lady at the front desk was the kindest, most professional and accommodating person we‘ve ever experienced. She really makes it welcoming. The room is very clean and has everything we need including a mini bar.

More like a bed and breakfast than a hotel, with a friendly and enthusiastic hostess. The hotel is a historic old house full of antiques and delightful decorations. Delicious breakfast buffet with friendly service.

Very nice hotel in traditional style

The hotel interior is traditional and quite different from typical hotels, in a very positive way! When you step in it feels almost like a trip back in time. The staff was really friendly and the breakfast was amazing. The hotel is within a walking distance to the center and supermarkets. Parking is only by the street but it was no problem to find a free spot and it didn't cost anything. I hope I will have a chance to visit Hotel Spöttel again.

Mangelhaften Zustand

Das Objekt ist in einem allgemeinen verfallenen Zustand, sowie ungelüftet, unhygienisch und stinkt. Als Erstes wollte man mir den Frühstück erneut in Rechnung stellen. Gut, dass ich die Reservierung ausgedruckt hatte. Die Rechnung musste bei der Ankunft auch gleich beglichen werden. Ab 22 Uhr ist die Rezeption nicht mehr besetzt. Das Schlafzimmer - im Vergleich zu den zentralen dreckigen und verfallenen Räumlichkeiten und Treppenhaus - war renoviert. Aber DRECKIG ! insbesondere Klo und Bad - die getrennt waren. Obwohl der Klo ein Papier drum hatte, "Desinfiziert", als ich ihn öffnete war das Wasser dreckig und Reste vom letzten Kunden zu sehen. Haare waren auf dem Boden. Um diese Äußerungen zu belegen habe ich Fotos gemacht, diese kann ich zur Verfügung stellen. Und weiter: Das Telefon am Bett war kaputt und unbrauchbar. Lampen an der Decke kaputt. Auf dem Boden und Teppiche waren Krümel überall. Fenster, Gardinen, Böden, Teppiche, Bad: dreckig. Ich habe dies dem Hotel auch gleich gespiegelt. Obiges sind nur einige Beispiele. Es ist das erste Mal, dass ich mich in einem Hotelzimmer ekele und die Strümpfen anbehielt aufgrund des Drecks - es hat mich angeekelt. Die Bettwäsche war sauber - die Mattratze hatte mittig eine Mulde. Das Frühstück war gut - der Frühstückraum war das Einzige dass gepflegt und sauber schien. FAZIT = Verfallenes, ungepflegtes, unhygienisches Haus. Schade.

This was my third time staying in this same hotel. I travel to Bad Nauheim from time to time for work purposes and I always stay there. I especially like the decor. Feels like in a fairy tale.

Jederzeit würde ich dieses Hotel wieder buchen

Ich vollkommen begeistert von diesem Hotel. Beim einchecken wurde ich bereits damit überrascht, dass mein Mann, der grade zur Reha in Bad Nauheim ist, einmal zum Frühstück eingeladen wurde. Das Frühstück war wirklich gut mit frischem Obst und frischgepresstem Orangensaft sowie natürlich allem was so zu einem Frühstück gehört. Ganz lustig fand ich auch die hauseigene Morgenpost. Das Bett war der Hammer. Da hab selbst ich „Nachtmensch“ sehr gut und früh geschlafen. Liebe Gastgeber, macht weiter so.

Classic Hotel in good location

ALL the staffs are friendly. 7 minutes walking distance to city center with good restaurants and shopping. Classical and good size suite with renovated bathroom. Very good breakfast and atmosphere. However, only street parking and the beds squeak (MUST replace).

Gerne wieder

War nur für eine Übernachtung im Hotel. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück ist reichlich und sehr gut. Das Gebäude und die Einrichtung sind zwar alt, aber es ist liebevoll eingerichtet. Wer diesen alten Charme liebt fühlt sich hier gleich wohl. Die Betten sind sehr bequem und die Zimmer sind auf dem aktuellen Stand, TV WLAN etc.
