We want to come back!

I stayed here with my kids and had a calm and peaceful visit. There was plenty of space, the kitchen had just what we needed, and Emily was very kind and helpful.

Peaceful country setting

This was a nice getaway from hustle and bustle. It was fun to be able to visit with the animals and give them a few treats. The host provided little “extras” that made you feel at home.

We only had a very short overnight stay but we found the house to be very clean & the host was very pleasant and helpful. If we find ourselves back in that area we would definitely stay again, hopefully a longer stay so we can enjoy the property more.

Very relaxing

Communication with Emily was outstanding. The stay was perfect, very cozy and secluded area made for a relaxing stay. The farms animals were the perfect touch helping to get away from it all.

Golf Tournament Stay

We have been staying at the farm for three years now, attending our son’s college golf tournaments in Hershey. We simply love everything about this place - the atmosphere, lodging, cleanliness, hospitality, farm animals, and more!

Great farm stay

My husband and I had a great weekend here with our 1 year old. We all loved walking around the property and seeing/hearing the animals. Our hosts were gracious to provide us with the most delicious eggs and chocolate. We were here during a heat wave so we were very happy to have the pool too! We also enjoyed nearby Conewago trail and lunch spots.

Very cozy

Emily’s communication was prompt and informative. Loved the farm. Slightly difficult to find after dark but our eyes are a bit old. Emily provided some detail to use along with our navigation app. We will absolutely return if we are in the area again.

Hershey and Foo Fighters

Stayed a couple of nights while visiting Herahey Paek and the Foo Fighters concert. Great farm...great little place...cozy but not tight. Hist was delightful. Freshly laid brown and green eggs for breakfast each morning. Would return in a heartbeat.

Farm getaway

We had such a great stay here! The space was clean, and when we arrived Emily had left chocolates and farm fresh eggs for us! She was super friendly and helpful with all of our needs and with giving recommendations of things to do in the area. We really loved feeding the animals, and hanging out with the very friendly farm cats! We cannot wait to come back here again.

Relaxing farmhouse with amazing views

This homestead was just so peaceful and perfect for our stay. The views were absolutely beautiful and so tranquil, a lightening storm in the distance was amazing to see, a rainbow that seemed to last forever. Super comfy bed and pillows for a great nights sleep. The owners went above and beyond to make sure everything was top notch-from farm fresh eggs to crackers to feed the farm animals to complimentary bicycles. A truly wonderful hardworking family. We hope to stay there again in the future.

Check-in was so easy! We were "on the go" and on a time constraint. Once we told Emily this, she adjusted our check-in time. We both grew up on farms and this was the perfect setting!

Wonderful!!

My husband and I were here for our wedding anniversary weekend and I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed ourselves! Emily and Craig are the perfect hosts ... very friendly, they made sure we had everything we needed while still respecting our privacy. The goats were so sweet and friendly as long as we didn't run out of animal crackers :) I would recommend this property to anyone. We're already planning to return for our anniversary next year!!

Great weekend

Exactly what we were looking for. A nice unique get away. Craig & Emily are wonderful hosts. We enjoyed a great bike trail along the Susquehanna; a short drive to Lititz for shopping & Wilbur chocolates; a great dinner at Railroad House Inn in Marietta; a friendly & great breakfast at Mollys in Marietta; and floating in the pool. The animals were friendly and fun to feed. My wife & I highly recommend a stay.

Farm/cottage gem! 10/10 would stay again!

Although our stay was short, we throughly enjoyed every little detail about this place. From the warm and cheerful host Emily and her family to the adorable farm animals, this home away from home has it all! Emily and her family are very attentive and generous with their accommodations. 10/10 would stay again and try to interact with all the animals next time. We loved every minute of our stay. 2nd stay in less than 3 months!!!

This farmhouse is perfection! When we arrived, we were greeted by the homeowners. We were informed there was a freshly made loaf of bread, fresh made apple butter, and some eggs in the fridge! The goats, sheep, chickens, roosters, turkeys, and the bunnies are amazing, we love them all. Zeke the cat, so loving. He followed us around, even hung out by the firepit. we are already planning out next trip out here! Can't wait. Marc & Diana

We had rainy cold weather and many appointments when we stayed at this property. I think in warmer and dryer conditions with extra leisure time our stay would have been more enjoyable. We would have had the energy to visit the animals and enjoy the whole farm experience. The feel of the unit is a granny flat on a farm. To us it was comforting and cozy. The owner communicated with email and was open to in-person communication. Since we were busy with business appointments, we were tired and did not initiate in-person communications. I think in today's world it is good that you can have a stay with no contact if necessary, yet have a host that is willing to interact in person if that is what you want. The bed was full size. The room warmed after about an hour. It was nice to have the fire place, kitchen with an oven, and a pantry. We were able to make a meal and sit at the table to enjoy it. The bathroom is very small. There is another bathroom that the owner lets you use, but it is not inside your unit. Just outside it in a breezeway between your unit and the main home. I had my own bath products, but forgot a towel when I used the other bathroom. So, dried with my clothes. Air quality is good for most people. However, allergy sufferers should note that homes in the area heat with wood and/or coal fireplaces and/or stoves. The fireplace in this unity is gas, but outside you will have smoke to deal with.
