Family and dog friendly, the property provides a superb base for exploring the Peak District National Park without needing to rely on the car.

Often regarded as the capital of the Peak District, Bakewell is the area’s most vibrant and well-connected town. From the front door, guests can stroll along the River Wye, join countless walking and cycling routes, browse independent shops, or enjoy the town’s cafés, restaurants, pubs, and famous Monday market — all just moments away on foot.

Stunning property. Perfect for a large family gathering. The house had everything we needed and many extra things. Very easy to checkin and excellent communication. We could not ask for any more. One query: Either the online description or the very detailed electronic guide available when you have booked is slightly confusing. There is a reference to TVs in a number of rooms and unless we were really dim, the only TV was in the room off from the living room. This was perfect for us as we wanted family time but this might not be the case for everyone. Thank you for letting us share the property.
