"Room was clean and nice. However they charge a fee of $20 a night to park there. You can only get there by car (20 mins outside of Moab) and there is plenty of room to park so I don’t know why a fee is needed. They charge a daily amenity fee $35. Why? When I was there the laundry room was closed. The fitness center was closed and there were no horses. But we still had to pay this. "

"The breakfast is very nice. The pool and hot tub is very nice. The rooms are good, a little on the small side. Annoying to stay four nights and only have room made up or any type of towels once. I was even told if I was a Hyatt number it would be daily only to be told the next morning that staff member was incorrect."

"Found a cockroach in our shower when unrolling the no-slip mat and wasn’t even offered a room change or someone to get rid of the bug in a timely manner. Very bad experience and will not be returning!"

" We never got to stay here, even though we paid the full rate for 4 nights, about $1350. The change/cancellation policy is 100% non-negotiable and the property is impossible to contact by phone. The phone number has a recorded messages declining all calls. The email soliciting this review says “As a small company, we depend on our valued guests to tell others about us.” I don’t buy it. These people just want your money and don’t care bout your experience at all. Here’s what I want to tell others: Visit Moab and stay somewhere with a negotiable change/cancellation policy. While you’re there, drive by Under Canvas to see if it appeals to you. It’s isolated from amenities, 8 miles out of town, and very close to a busy highway that has heavy truck traffic 24/7. The view of the mesa has layers of power lines, railroads & the highway. If you like what you see, book a tent for your next visit. But be aware, there’s absolutely no chance of changing or cancelling without paying for the full stay and no chance of re-booking with credit for a previous booking. Full disclosure, I made a mistake booking this property for the wrong dates. My intention in this review is to draw attention to the non-ngeotiable change/cancellation policy so others don’t get stuck paying for a stay they can’t use like I did. Truth be told, after visiting Moab, the tent sounds cool if you’ve never been there, but a hotel is a lot more convenient and comfortable and even less expensive. Boo Under Canvas Moab! "

"Property was very clean and the breakfast was good. Nice property with very nice personnel. A/C thermostat on wall didn’t work with unit, had to shut off thermostat and run it from the unit. 2 remotes to run tv was a little weird, 1 for the tv and 1 to change channels. Hot tubs need spray jets replaced no control and they don’t hit you sitting in it. Very minor issues that can easily be overlooked and didn’t impact our stay. "
