"No lift to upper floor was a bit of a pain for us. It might put us off staying in the Brandon House again. ((We're senior citizens with multiple ailments). The only other complaint is that there was no "comfortable" chair in the room for reading, PC work etc. The straight back chairs provided were not comfortable, more like dining chairs. On the plus side, the food was excellent & the staff were most helpful & friendly. The decor was intriguing & grounds were so interesting. Just put in a lift! "

"Room was clean and comfortable but you can hear all the noise from neighbouring rooms and the corridors. The staff at the front desk were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was very nice. Overall a pleasant stay."
