Beautiful tranquil guest house. Gorgeous gardens I would recommend highly. The staff was very friendly and manor home decorated beautifully. I look forward to a return visit.
Excellent hotel in an excellent location with amazing views of the Burren landscape. Extremely comfortable room and welcoming staff. World class restaurant which lives up to its reputation and an incredibly cosy well stocked bar, perfect for nightcap after dinner.
Super comfortable homey environment with excellent food. The staff is incredible and the area and well maintained gardens surrounding the hotel were also beautiful. We went with our 5 yr old and she loved it as much as us! Highly recommend. It felt like staying at a very nice family’s home instead of a “hotel”
This was one of the most quaint place I have ever stayed at and the personal touch of the staff made it so memorable. I will definitely be back in the future.

Liked: Staff & service, amenities
Property was very charming, grounds were beautiful, staff were very accommodating and the food was outstanding. The room was very dated and the cat presence was annoying and uncomfortable for those of us with allergies. For those reasons, I cannot give this property an excellent review.
The property was beautiful. Dinner was very expensive and although unique was not what we would have wanted but didn’t want to drive 30 mins to get there after driving a couple hours in.
There was no tv in the room and the over all feel of the place was a bit stuffy. The staff were all nice enough but didn’t it was not a place that felt homey at all.
I wouldn’t go back. I think it’s better suited for an older crowd like 60s plus that want a secluded get away that doesn’t have a whole lot going on.
i really wish we had stayed on more night. It is a very cozy place...just like staying with family. The common areas were full of character. Quiet place were you can sit around and enjoy a conversation or a game. Breakfast was very good!! I just got annoyed with a lady complaining about some cats that sit around the lobby area. I am not really a fan of cats, but these cats were not hurting anyone. The place was spotless, clean and smelled good. If you don't like cats then don't book your stay here. I really prefer the cats that complaining ladies that think they need to be treated like royalty. The place, again, is lovely. The staff amazing.
Wow, this is the most amazing location and setting. We arrived late, but was greeted by a very friendly Irishman named John. It was late but he still poured me a stout. Everything about this place was warm and homey. Everytime we came back through the doors from being out, there was the fresh amazing scent of peat in the fireplaces. It was also wonderful to be greeted by one of the many cats. The breakfasts were the best of all our locations we've started over the past two weeks. This was the shortest of our stays, but next time it will be the longest. They make this feel like home away from home.
The hotel was gorgeous. The view of the Burren was remarkable. The surrounding gardens were a joy to explore.
The staff were friendly and the bartender was very personable.
We loved how quiet our room was. It was a romantic stay for sure.
The onsite restaurant provided a 5 star experience for dinner and service.
The hotel is within 20-30 minutes to the Cliffs of Moher.
This hotel is pricey but it is well worth the cost and we can't wait to go back!
We absolutely loved our stay. The hotel is beautifully appointed, in a gorgeous setting, staff are genuinely friendly and welcoming, and the dining was literally fine with an excellent and charming sommellier and exquisite food. There are nooks with peat burning open fires in the bar and lobby. What is not to love?
Amazing experience, location, and staff! I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a little getaway. It was a little remote so plan to have dinner at the hotel, which was a 5 Star meal!

The restaurant was amazing! The staff was very nice!
This was an unparalled experience of taste, grandeur and relaxation. The grounds, property, pub, guest rooms are all pleasing and inviting. The art and books all around the hotel give it character and make it feel like "home". The breakfast was the best we had in Ireland--and I suspect one of the best in Ireland.
Absolutely gorgeous property. Everything was perfect! Elegant, classy, a perfect bed and breakfast. Convenient to the local town and close by to Allewah Caves/ Bird of Prey. Loved the breakfast spread and entrees. Would love to come back again.
