Calls itself a boutique hotel; seems a corporate-y hotel with boutiquey touches but owned locally. Room is standard, BUT there is a wifi in both our rooms right on the desk; THIS is a reason we bring our cable. Lotsa notes from travelers about the coffee and it is really good, smooth for those who like that. Location was central for us, walkable to Robinson so food was accessible and cheap. Pool is nice, tho small. 1.3m deep?

Sweet spot very near the airport with airport shuttle available every half hour. Pool is lovely. Beds super comfortable. Noisy street out front but in our room it was quiet, cool and restful.

Rooms are simple, but at the same time has everything you need and are super clean. Staff are very helpful and friendly. It is 250baht for transport to the airport but since I paid a very low hotel rate I was happy to pay for the transfer. This is my second stay at Port Canary and it will be my go-to airport hotel while in Bangkok.

After reading some negative reviews I was a little apprehensive about my stay. However, I'm happy to report that everything was just perfect and the staff were lovely. I only stayed overnight but the shower was great and I felt that the bed linen was lovely and soft and the mattress was on the firm side which I liked. Before I left I had a great iced americano and a croissant which was warmed up for me. I would definitely stay here again as it is only 10 minutes from the airport.
