The gentlemen working at the front desk called me about 2 hours after checking in with him directly, and said there was a situation where someone was there and also trying to check in under my booking, as well as seeing a note that they could see on their end that was put under my booking 3 months prior to my check in date that I did not put myself or call about that said I would not be personally checking in, and gave this person’s name instead. He cleared this up with me before just giving them a key to my room, as there was clearly a mix up and I did not know said person at all, and had already checked in with him earlier. He handled this very well as I was nervous because I wasn’t physically at the hotel at the time of the call, and was very polite and professional about it and apologized for the mixup. I appreciated the fact that he didn’t just assume the note was correct and didn’t give someone else access to my room where my belongings were. I’m unsure of his name now, but kudos to him!
