"Underwhelmed. Cottage was adorable at first. Not the cleanest, bugs in windows, stains on rugs and chairs, chips on the floor. Woke up to no hot water. The bathroom was clean. Went to front to ask about it and grab “coffee”. Honestly, coffee was similar to motor oil. A keurig would have been a better choice for the lobby. Maintenance came while we were at breakfast. I followed up and was told that I turned off breaker, which I didn’t do. Girl was polite when I asked for a refund for the 2nd night and to check out early. No issue so far with refund. The property is super cute, was looking forward to a fire in the evening but there wasn’t one, even though the staff said there would be. Disappointing but we didn’t let these issues ruin our trip to Bar Harbor."

"This is a wonderful, modern hotel close to everything —very walkable. It’s near the Hannaford store and has convenient parking outside and underneath in a garage with an elevator. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The beds were comfy and the shower was nice too. There was not a coffee maker in the room, but there were coffee and cookies in the lobby. The breakfast menu had many options and good portions. The food was delicious! Check out the nearby Atlantic Brewing Company. Great place to stay in Bar Harbor!"

"One of the best experiences I’ve ever had with lodging. Christopher greeted us when we arrived and even provided info on restaurants. He could not have been friendlier or more helpful. The next morning Candace spent time with us planning our trip to Acadia with recommendations for parking and hiking and she was spot on. Our stay literally. Oils not have been better. Thank you for a memorable stay!"

"Very enjoyable hotel. The 2-room suite was extremely spacious and had great lighting and windows, very convenient furnishings. The staff was welcoming, the breakfast (mostly continental) delightful, the electric car charging easy, and of course, the location downtown bar harbor was perfect. Special thanks for the afternoon homemade cookies in the hallway, which made our day after a long hike."

"This was a disaster! We booked this room as part of our honeymoon and we ended up getting sick from it and having to cut our stay short. The room was awkward and strange but that’s manageable. What we couldn’t stand was the intense smell of bleach that make us cough and burned our eyes and sinuses. I don’t know what they were trying to cover up but it made us sick. I woke up in the middle of the night with my sinuses burning and got to sit outside at 3 am just to breath. I ended up with a severe sinus infection that took 2 months to clear up. Add insult to injury the sheets were so worn there were holes and it was stained. We had to power through one evening because we checked in late and there were no other options. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. Not worth it at all! "
