Not the most posh stay, but perfect for what I needed. The receptionist was very friendly and very helpful. On my way out they had breakfast bags on standby, which was perfect for my early 6 a.m departure.

It's like a college dorm meets a Super 8 sprinkled with jail vibes. Felt safe and secure. Good price for 5 people, near the airport. Very bare-bones. Beds were comfortable.

Quick check in, friendly staff. Breakfast ok. The room was large and comfortable but you couldn't control the heating/air con. It was fine though. No hand soap had to use shower gel. Felt like staying in a university, office workers etc. 10 min walk from tube. Felt overpriced but that's barcelona for you!

Im surprised to read the relatively negative comments for this accommodation by other visitors. It's a 2 star hotel, so it should be reviewed by that standard. This place is near the airport, rooms are spacious, staff is friendly and the breakfast is decent enough. Heck, they even have a pool. I also find it a breath of fresh air in a world of spoiled, decadent and complaining tourism (which Barcelona is full off) that there is a non-profit organisation promoting sustainability and running an eco-friendly hostel. For a change, the outside sitting area is surrounded by mostly native plants (instead of exotic species which are ruining the Mediterranean in most places). Last of all, this is among the cheaper accommodations out there, which offers private rooms. If you want it fancier, take your spoiled persona somewhere else and pay for it. All in all, a 5 star experience for a 2 star place. One small are for improvement could be the USB charging hubs in the room, which is my case were both broken.
