Spacious room, comfortable beds and good facilities. Cleaning wasn’t spotless but was generally clean throughout. Very helpful and friendly staff. Great location. Would stay again.

Really convenient and central. It was good for a short, quick, stay. The room didn't smell so great, smoky. Staff were great and the area was close to most everything. You can even walk to Placa Catalunya.

Good hotel at a good price. Nothing fancy. Twenty minute walk to La Rambla. Some nice tapas bars within a few minute walk. The area looks a bit rundown/graffiti-ed but many people of all ages out at night and seemed very safe.

The room I had the first night had a very strong smell which was hard to withstand. Management switched my room which was nice. Bedding was clean in both rooms. The room decor was a little old, but ok for the price paid. The hotel is one block away from a main city street and metro station, so Barcelona was at my fingertips.

It's alright

One of my rolled up towels had a CLUMP of long, dark, straight hair. My hair is curly. Needless to say, i was grossed out. Walls are thin. Great location & staff is friendly.

The staff is very professional and helpful, they are open 24h so you don’t have to be inside within a specific time. A bit loudly because if you catch people doing showers late night and you hear the water passing by but I had my earplugs so it was ok. Of course in the weekend outside is lively. Well located near metro and several supermarkets and restaurants where to eat. Good price and good comfort.

Very friendly place

The staff are very lovely, and I felt great staying there being a trans woman. A pity the cafeteria had no license when I was there. It's hopefully changing soon! However, the location is so central that you can just walk out the door and get a coffee in one of the countless bakeries and tapas bars around

Great Staff, hotel can use some work.

Front counter staff was excellent and welcoming. However when we first arrived we were given a room on the 1st floor: We are a family of 3 adults and 1 baby. The room was tiny but we tried to make it work. However, the long black hairs found in all three beds, towels and floor was a big turn off. The room next door were heavy smokers and our room as a result stunk like cigarettes and marijuana all the time. Very bad for a young baby. Luckily the front staff was able to move us to the floor above where instead of 3 single beds we now had a double and single and it no longer smelled like smoke. This was greatly appreciated. But please note the room itself is for two people (very small) but the hotel will say it is for 3/4 people and charge accordingly. Overall the staff was great but the hotel can definitely use some renovations. If you just need a place to sleep and go about your day this hotel will do, but if you wish to spend time and enjoy the hotel it is not quite the place. The location is very convenient to Plaça Cataluña, la Rambla and all things Barcelona has to offer. It is noisy at night if you are looking for a quiet stay, it will not be the best choice.

The hotel was overall basic in its facilities, but clean with comfortable beds. Location is relatively convenient for walking or taking the metro to most central attractions in Barcelona. Downsides were: - Sink in bathroom clearly suffered from clogging. A tradesman associated with the hotel did attempt to fix this, with some success, but it appeared clear that the problem is likely to return quite quickly. The receptionist whom I had mentioned this problem to was unapologetic about the fact the sink was in such condition. - The receptionist was unwilling to commit to arranging for the clearing of the sink, and at least in my time at the desk she did not make a note in writing of the problem. It was therefore probably only by way of good luck that the tradesman working for the hotel had a good work ethic. - Related to the above issue, when I asked about changing the room to one where the sink drained adequately, I was given inconsistent information by different receptionists, leading to confusion and it becoming impossible to make the change. - As many other guests have commented the practice of obliging guests to give their key back to reception everytime they leave the hotel is very unusual and difficult to understand. The practice does not even seem to make access to the rooms more secure, because my friend returned home one evening to find that a complete stranger was asleep in his bed!
