Location was pretty centrand pretty safe. The staff was very helpful and friendly to talk to. It's located in a safe location and not far from the bus station and tourist bus stop

Absolutely lovely stay at the Hostal Felipe II. The front desk staff were very warm and welcoming and it was such a perfect size room with A/C and TV, with a comfy bed. I will absolutely stay here again when I visit the city next time.

Good Location

The room (a triple) was quite small, hardly enough room to open all our suitcases on the floor. The bathroom was large. The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The location was convenient.

The place was great, with friendly and helpfull staff. The building is older, it's pretty comfortable and has all you need. Location is great, especially for the price we paid. The only minuses are slow Internet and not so good pillows. Overall, great stay.

Very comfortable, great location

Very comfortable and clean, good amenities, great location near the bus V19 to go to the beach or to Park Güell. The area is close to everything: grocery stores, ramblas and paseos (main avenues) and tourist attractions. Very friendly and helpful staff. I strongly recommend it.

We had a room with private bathroom. It was exactly what we expected. Clean bathroom, comfortable bed. Location is perfect. Nearby Sagrada Familia and two Gaudi houses. Subway and busses few minutes away. Very nice staff. Overall good experience.

I've been here with my brother, we booked a private room for two. Everything was perfect. It was clean (they clean it on a daily basis), the receptionists very available and friendly. Nothing to say. The only thing that could "annoy", it's that the hostel is in the city centre, more or less, so it can be noisy at night as well. But the experience was amazing

Checked all my boxes for a comfortable stay

This was the first hostel I’ve stayed at so I wasn’t really sure what to expect. This place obviously isn’t luxurious but it checked all the boxes I was looking for on my solo trip: comfortable bed, private room, bathroom access, affordable price. To add to this, the location is phenomenal. About a 10 minute walk to Sagrada Familia in one direction or Casa Mila in the other, with lots of public transportation options and restaurants within walking distance. I would recommend this for anyone looking for an affordable, comfortable, and convenient place to stay

Everything was good. Friendly staff. Daily house keeping. Great location next to L4 and L5 metro lines. Filtered hot and cold water. Unique old style elevator. Bring ear plugs if sensitive to noise. It is an old building and you may hear the water flowing through pipes at night.
