This hotel exceeded every expectation. The luxury and attention to detail were outstanding from the moment we arrived. The service was exceptional—they didn’t just take great care of us, they treated our friends like honored guests as well, making everyone feel genuinely welcome. The architecture is unique and full of character, giving the hotel a distinctive charm that’s hard to find. Our room was gorgeous, beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable. My favorite feature was the amazing old-school enameled jet bathtub—a perfect blend of vintage style and modern comfort that made for a wonderfully relaxing experience. If you’re looking for a luxurious stay with impeccable hospitality and memorable design, I highly recommend this hotel.

Amazing room and location. Staff made sure we felt at home and the hotel itself is immaculate. Not much of a rooftop pool, more like a wading pond, but that didn’t make the stay any less memorable. Will definitely have to come back next time I visit Barcelona!!

The property is lovely and the rooms are clean, as should be expected for the price. The room was a bit cramped and awkwardly layed out, but the view was lovely. However, we have some complaints with the staffing. Housekeeping came to the room 3-4 times a day, at one point taking our do not disturb sign so we couldn't even use that. It felt like living with roommates how often things in the room were rearranged while we were gone. Sometimes they came just to ask if we needed anything and to ask us to tell them if they were doing a good job or not. It crossed the line from helpful to intrusive. Additionally, at several of the on property dining areas, we were ignored for extended periods of time by staff and asked if we were really guests of the hotel when others around us were not asked that. We weren't dressed poorly by any means, but it felt like we were being looked down on by staff at several points. A great property for people wanting to "play rich" but unless you're specifically interested in the lovely architecture of the building, I wouldn't recommend this property.

Good from far, far from good! This hotel is beautiful but so poorly maintained, it is a shame! In many rooms, the air-conditioning did not function. (We were required to change rooms 3x). There was no cold water available from the faucets, only hot. The beds are old, tired and worn. Until and when this hotel gets its act together, I would highly recommend staying elsewhere.

This is maybe my favorite hotel experience ever, and I have stayed at some really wonderful hotels. We stayed in the family room, which is comprised of two adjoining suites that are each extremely spacious. The room service is gourmet and everyone on the staff from the bellmen to the room service team to the front desk associates are absolutely jumping to help you with anything you need. The housekeepers check in multiple times per day to ensure you're taken care of and perform a nightly turndown with chocolates and a pair of slippers by your bed. The rooftop bar and pool area had a gorgeous view of Barcelona. The location is fabulous right near all of the high end shopping at the hotel's doorstep but with a very local feeling safe neighborhood right behind the hotel.

Lovely historic boutique hotel. Front desk staff very helpful. Gym was tiny so not much room to workout out. Visited the rooftop bar and waited for 20 min and no one greeted us so we left.
