Everything is just perfect! From the staff to the rooms and services are amazing. Location is great, easy to find , near to all the tourist attractions in Barcelona , close to the metro and bus stops. Highly recommend!

Under renovation - new rooms

This 50 room hotel is currently undergoing a major renovation. The first night we had a room with a broken toilet. The reception was very kind and upgraded us to one of only two rooms where the renovation was completed. What a difference!! The new rooms are VERY nice and have been renovated with grate taste and an eye on details. The location, the staff and the new rooms are highly recommended.

Hotel Condal is the perfect location for a long weekend stay. Literally in the centre of the old town Barcelona, 2 mins walk to the metro and La Rambla. Helpful staff at reception. Having some work done so will probably be even better once that is completed. Would go again for sure. Date: Aug 25

Amazing stay.

The staff was SO NICE. They gave me a big beautiful room. And of course it’s old inside the hallways but that’s to be expected with staying in the Gothic. The bed was comfortable and clean, they let me stay an extra hour when I was supossed to check out and held my luggage. Overall I will be back and am very happy I picked this spot. The area is super touristy but it’s perfect if you are new to vacationing here.

The hotel is under some construction, so their reception area is in the restaurant which you have to walk through to get to your room so not the hotel‘s fault because they are doing renos but was kind of odd. The property hotel is clean in the rooms, nothing special just a bed. Be aware the bathroom tub shower combination because it was very slippery and my husband fell. It is a fabulous spot for walking right by las Romblas street , which is also under construction.
