Musty Rental
We got off on the wrong foot when we did not recieve our check in information at the time we specified. After several direct mesaages to the host through app, and calls that were left unanswered, I had to contact Vrbo directly. Only after all of this were we messaged on whatsapp, rather than the app, and were able to get the information we needed to access the property.
Once inside the rental, the thing that stood out the most was the musty smell of the space. Its clear that this was a known issue as there were scent diffusers and air fresheners through out the space, however they were all empty. The lack of AC and struggling de humidifier only amplified the smell. As a result we only used the space to sleep as it was not enjoyable to spend free time there.
Overall the place seemed clean, however there was no hand soap, and hardly enouch toliet paper to last our stay.
The location of the rental really can't be beat, but didn't make up for the smell and other inconveniences.
