Excellent welcome, superb rooms with nice little touches. Very clean and comfortable rooms.
The staff were very pleasant and helpful. We had to leave early in the morning so they arranged for bacon butties to be ready for us.
Although we could not sit and enjoy the full breakfast experience, the menu was extensive and looked amazing.
Excellent facilities, great experience, relaxing atmosphere

Had a very upsetting incident with one of the chefs, however the rest of the staff were very accommodating and went above and beyond. Mirrors in room looked like they had been cleaned with a dirty cloth very smeared. Breakfast was lovely apart from last day of holiday.
On the whole a very good stay. Tillman pub is nice and not too noisy and they served a great breakfast. Staff were really friendly. Bedroom was roomy and well equipped with nice decor. Good sized en suite with walk in shower and large fluffy white towels. The reason I've not given an excellent rating is that there was mould on the walls in the en suite in a number of places. Such a shame as the rest of the hotel was in great condition. Wouldn't put me off going again as everything else was very good.

Nice comfy room with a sea view, comfortable bed, super friendly staff, a nice pub and good breakfast in a great location. Also parking was free :) there were just minor things to improve - the door handle in the bathroom was loose as well as the temperature setting in the shower. Also internet was unstable so if you wanna stream something, its almost impossible. We had room 12 on the third floor, which we didnt mind, but consider if youre older or require
accessibility :-)

Good stuff, parking well controlled, check in fine, room on the surface looked good, breakfast quite nice
Bad stuff, car chargers wouldn’t work (tried 4), noise from the external ac units kept us awake, strobe from smoke detector kept us awake, noise from presume staff and others kept us awake, security light coming on all the time kept us awake, shower door missing meaning water soaks the floor (door to bathroom doesn’t close properly without effort due to water damage) the window locks on the sash window didn’t work and no restricters (health and safety hazard) ac in room very noisy
All this meant we left a day early as couldn’t do two nights without sleep, could only imagine that the Friday night would have been worse for noise from outside
Sadly won’t be choosing this place to stay should we return to Barmouth
Breakfast very good, room nice size, good bed, nice bathroom. Friendly staff. Only problem, extractor fan from neighbouring restaurant, but nothing they can do about that. Keep window closed and the a/c works fine. All in all, nice place.
Great location in Barmouth and useful to have a free car park within easy walking distance. Our room appeared to be recently decorated to a high standard with some nice touches like good quality coffee and water supplied. Just to beware that our room was on the top floor and required us to walk up a few flights of stairs although we were offered help with luggage. The main negative for us was the breakfast. Although beautifully served, the quality of some of the items let the main breakfast down. Overall was an enjoyable stay.
The staff were very friendly. The room was amazing especially the bathroom, loved the little touches like the bath salts and the books, and even the little bottle of cows milk. The room was very clean, with great views.

Staff were helpful and friendly. Great location with parking available nearby.
The Tilman was not a bad place to stay, it was clean; staff friendly; breakfast was okay but limited if you only like cereals. The menu for evening meal was disappointing, as it was a variation of different burgers and was a bit over priced. There are plenty of eateries within walking distance of The Tilman. If we do go back I would avoid going before Easter as most shops where closed.
The room was spotless, spacious and the bathroom was beautiful. It had a very large shower and bath. Shampoo was provided along with body wash and bath salts. The towels were spotless. The room had everything that you needed such as tea and coffee, buscuits and a hair dryer. The staff were lovely and the breakfast was amazing. Would definately ho back and recommrnd to others.
